A Series of Poems about Nightmares

Dreams

In my dreams I see,

A pen in my hand,

Dancing with grace,

Crying tears of the damned.

In my dreams I see,

The smooth ink flowing,

Circulating my veins,

Enabling my breathing.

In my dreams I see,

My hardened walls crumble,

My tears scattered as words,

My life poured out as my hands - they tremble.

In my dreams I see - Oh,

How I bleed my life,

How I can speak again,

With a pen as my wife.

How I shall continue my dreaming,

And forget that blank piece of paper,

Forget that broken pen,

And forget all there is to forget, my dear.

Take my advice,

And forget that these thoughts ever emerged from me.

And keep on dreaming darling,

Cause you'll never be able to bleed for others to see.

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,

How I wonder how you are.

Up above the darkest sky,

Like a dying glorious cry.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,

How'd you hide,

And run so far?

Calling for Darkness

No one understands.

My need to shatter my soul.

No one ever will.

The voices moved on,

As Darkness said goodbye

While the light said hi.

I miss you darkness,

I can't live without your hold.

Please, take me with you.

Sleepless nights for the dead

Sleepless nights shall never haunt the dead.

Grotesque nightmares shall always fear the dead.

Run away, they were told,

Don't disturb the dead.
