Spring
You were my spring.
You woke me up.
And gave me life.
Summer
I hated summer.
Because you weren't summer.
Because summer can't ever possibly be as golden as you.
Autumn
You were my forever autumn.
You danced the red winds that brushed my hair,
Wrapped me with your golden arms,
And taught me to fall,
Ever so gracefully,
With you.
Winter
You gave me winter.
You gave me cold love.
You made me want to freeze,
Every single moment,
We had together.
Until my heart grows cold and cracks,
Until my heart stops beating,
Locked,
Awaiting the scene of a new, scenic
Spring.
Until someone melts my wintery shield,
Until I let you go.
