A/N: I'm back - again! I love this one! Hope you enjoy it! See you in the comments! ❤️

"Jim Beach!"  He smiled at me when I walked into his office.

He was sitting behind the huge mahogany table crammed with papers as usual, it was reassuring to know that I would no longer have to deal with John Reid after the dark episodes at Elton's house, he looked so harmless.

"My girl from Glasgow is great to have you back, have a seat."  He pointed to the chair on the opposite side of the table and I answered his request promptly.  "I'm glad the winds brought you back, I swear if Prenter organized another tour I would freak out."  He closed a folder and folded his hands on the table.

Prenter, just hearing his name made my stomach turn.

"I'm going to take that as the best compliment, I missed you too and what's going on with your hair?"  I pointed at my own head where at the point where his head had a clear growing gap.

"Queen, but more specifically Freddie and Roger."  He laughed and I couldn't help myself.

"Well, I think I'm going to rethink this issue of working with you, you know I need to preserve my hair."  He laughed and took another folder from a drawer.

"I received the demo of Crazy Little Thing Called Love, the work is amazing."  He opened the folder and passed it to me.

It was a contract like the studio, but as a tour manager.

"It's a big step."  Jim commented while I was still looking at the robust contract.

"Aye, a step I never thought I would take."  I said changing the contract page.  "Are there two tours?"  I frowned and looked at Jim who was smiling at me.

"This little tour of now with twenty shows and the tour of the next album, I estimated roughly seventy shows."  He spoke with eyes shining.

This was too much time with them.

"Jim- this is way too long. There are five legs on a tour!"  I felt despair building inside me.

"I know, a year of touring, of course with breaks."  He leaned his back on the leather chair and I felt short of breath.

I never imagined myself working with them, never.  I was in limbo, on t one hand it meant more time with John, Roger and Brian and of course more time away from Gavin, but on the other hand it meant too much time with Freddie.

"So, can we sign the contract?"  He had an excited tone.

"Jim, I accept the contract, and this huge tour, as long as you don't forget to book my own room this time."  I took a pen from the table and he smiled at me.

"Surely you will have a room of your own, Julie."  He laughed and I signed my name on that blessed paper that had been holding me to Freddie for at least two years.

"Thanks Jim, I'm happy with that."  I looked at my name on the paper and swallowed.

I was going to live two years with them, God where was my head?

"Now, on our other subject, I have news for you."  He took the folder with my contract and closed it.

"I was going to ask about it, do the police still remember that?"  I leaned back in the chair, my hands went cold automatically.

I pretended not to remember that Cameron was on the loose, he was wanted as the prime suspect in the car's sabotage, Jim at the time passed the case on to a lawyer he knew, and since then I never sought to hear from him again.
