FREDDIE
She was intent while Brian explained his song that we were going to record, Sail away sweet sister. Brian had asked me to play the piano for him on that song despite the fact that he always played his compositions, but he thought I had more rhythm and emotion for that. When Julia put her hands on the paper where the song was written, her forehead frowned slightly, she was more sensitive that day. I knew that because it was different in the way she handled that song. The day we recorded Roger's song was chaos, but in the end everything worked out after she almost killed him. The final edition of the song was very reminiscent of our first albums. Mack had an incessant idea of using synthesizers, and I was close to accepting his idea. Julia's friend Conrad would show up sometimes and always take time out of his day to pin me up, he seemed to judge me every time we met and it irritated me in an unusual way.
I was nervous, I had written another song with Brian, but she couldn't know that I had written that - of course I asked Brian to take over the composition of that whole song, I was too emotional when it came to it, and joining Brian at a time like that was obviously a bit of an emotional song.
Brian went on to explain the tones and how he hoped all of that together would work while she could only look at the piece of paper. It was strange to look at her at that moment, for a moment in front of my eyes that room at Musicland became our studio in Wessex, I could almost see her belly growing and the smile on the corner of her lips - it was a mirage.
"You could be disguising yourself as looking at her." Deacy stopped beside me with his arms crossed.
"I don't understand what you mean."
"Ah- of course you understand, for God's sake." He laughed and I took a deep breath as Julia now with Mack told Brian how they could mix the music.
"No, I didn't understand. I miss when Veronica is with us, you without her are a little unbearable." I smiled at my best friend.
"One day more and we will be with her, by the way did you tell Julia that she is going with us to record the video?" He asked and now Mack, Julia and Brian were laughing.
"Mhmm- No." I clicked my tongue and he shook his head.
"You don't seem to know how it works."
"Of course I know, so you're going to suggest that she go with us." I spoke quietly.
"What? Me !? Do you want to end my friendship with her?" He was red.
"No, but I want you to help our band with this. You know that she will work well in this production - and don't make me admit it again." I smiled at Deacy, who had inflated nostrils.
"Freddie, can you come here?" Brian called to me and I patted John on the shoulder and went towards the three.
"So how's it going? We can already record Sail-"
"We wanted the other song that Brian wrote he said is with you." Julia interrupted me, the green eyes went towards me but soon she turned to Mack.
"He said he thinks it can serve as a single." Mack reinforced Julia's request.
Bloody hell, I hoped Brian would keep the story we agreed on about the song being about a couple of his friends who separated.
"ah- of course Brian's song, I was working on the part of the piano he asked for." I hope I didn't look nervous. But obviously Julia noticed and I knew it because of the raised eyebrow and the sinus smile at the corner of her lips.
