Might end this in less than three chapters plus epilogue– it depends. Haha. Idk how to prolong the story anymore.

Fun fact: The story should have ended in Chapter Twenty Two when Gusion and Lesley met again. Yep, I planned on giving this an open ending but I know you will demand a second book which will be impossible since I'm too lazy. HAHAHA.

"What was your inspiration to create this wonderful– almost impossible medicine for HIV/AIDS?" They heard Iris asked Lesley as the interview went on.

"It is my main goal as a chemist and bio-med engineer to create a medicine for those hard to cure diseases. It is really heartbreaking for me to see people suffer from those diseases. I mean, if I can change people's lives with this, then why not? It is an honor for me to help people."

Everyone in the research lab was in awe. Only few people had pure intention on helping others. Most of them had ulterior, selfish motives.

"And the field of science is so lucky to have someone like you Lesley. Thank you for your dedication. May we know if when you will be mass producing the medicine so it will be out in the market?"

"I'm actually still improving the medicine. Producing it now will still be a bit pricey, and I want it to be affordable to everyone." Lesley gave an awkward smile, "And my laboratory wouldn't be able to produce such large amount of medicine so I was hoping if the National Research Lab would be able to help me."

"It will be an honor for us to produce the medicine, Les. But our laboratory has a lot on its hands so I'm afraid that we wouldn't be able to. Maybe you can try the Paxley Pharmaceuticals? It's the biggest pharmaceuticals in the country."

Gusion didn't know if his eyes tricked him or Lesley did gave him a quick glance before answering Irithel's mother.

"I'll try my luck." Lesley answered while smiling.

"After improving this medicine, do you plan on making medicine for other hard to cure diseases?"

Lesley nodded, "Yes. As long as I can make medicines, I won't stop. I won't stop helping people."

"Any message to the people?"

"Everyone, people in the medical field are all doing their best for your cure. But please, take care of your health. Prevention is always better than cure. Life is short, we must be thankful that we are given the blessing of life. Don't waste it."

Gusion stared at Lesley intently. He hinted that she wanted to convey something else in her message. She was even smiling, but Gusion knew it was sad smile for it didn't even reach her eyes.

Why am I thinking like this? Do I know her?

=====

Lesley was standing in the platform and facing the camera. There were two standees of lights and reflectors in front of her.

She smiled awkwardly, "Just so you know, I'm not really used to things like this."

Gusion smiled, "It's okay. I got you Les. Just be natural."

He looked at the viewfinder of his camera and focused to Lesley. He was about to click the shutter button when he suddenly had a blurry flash of memory.

It was a same scenario where he was the photographer and the one he was taking a photo was nervous. But too bad, he couldn't see her face for it was blurry.

"Gusion?" He heard a familiar female voice called him.

Who are you? Gusion asked.
