Chapter Twenty One

Are you ready? *evil smile*

"Hello, have you seen Harley Vance? He's a Grade Six pupil." Lesley asked a little girl when she entered the school building where her little brother was studying.

She was in Harley's school because there was a parents and teachers' meeting but unfortunately their parents weren't able to attend since there was an emergency meeting in the company owned by her parents.

Luckily, she didn't have any afternoon classes so she was able to attend the meeting.

She planned on checking on Harley first before going to the meeting since there were still thirty minutes before it would start.

The little girl looked at her with sparkling eyes, "Are you perhaps his big sister? I can see the similiarities!"

Lesley's head leaned towards her right and smiled at the little girl, "Yes, you're right. Do you know Harley?"

The little girl nodded enthusiastically, "Yes! I'm Nana, Harley's classmate."

"Oh!" Lesley pinched her cheek, "You're so cute! Do you know where Harley is?"

"I think he is in our room. Come! I'll show you the way." The little girl named Nana grabbed her hand and then led her towards where their classroom was.

Lesley just chuckled and let the little girl be. She fixed her eyeglasses with her free hand but it was quite hard since she was holding her books.

She managed to fix her eyeglasses but one book fell to the ground.

Nana stopped walking when she bent down to get the book.

"Wow! Applied chemistry!" Nana exclaimed.

Lesley's eyes widened at her, "You already know this stuff?"

The little girl nodded, "Yes! My dad is a chemical engineer and my mother is a pharmacist. I am already doing some chemical experiments! Do you like Science too, Miss Lesley?"

Lesley nodded, "I'm a chemical engineering student."

"Wow!" Nana's eyes were so full of admiration, "I want to become one too! My parents owned a pharmaceuticals, maybe you can work there after you graduate and you can teach me to make medicines too!"

"I'll think about it sweetie. But now, let's go to your classroom first, shall we?"

Nana nodded and they continued walking.

Lesley was shocked to meet a twelve-year-old girl with already an interest about Science, especially Chemistry. She knew that this little girl would be a great chemist in the future.

They finally arrived in the Grade Six Pilot Section's classrom. She saw her little brother talking to his friends– Cy, Diggie, and Harith. She knew them since they visited in their house a couple of times.

"Harls!" Lesley called her little brother.

Harley stopped talking to his friends and frowned to see her but he went near her nonetheless, "Big Sis! Are you going to attend the meeting? Don't you have classes?"

"My classes are already done this day, luckily. Mom and Dad aren't able to attend because there is an emergency meeting in the company."
