They could hear the laughters of the children from where they were sitting. The children were playing happily, though their parents were having a hard time to reprimand them.

"Kids! Don't run too much please!" Leyanne reprimanded her kids.

But the kids didn't stop and just continued to run.

"We're kinda lucky that our kids are just okay with books." Gusley said while pointing at his son and daughter, who were busy reading with books.

"At least my baby is still an infant though." Glacier said while cooing his seven-month old son.

"Mine too." Glendell agreed while playing peek-a-boo with his two-month old son.

"You should spend a lot of time with your kids while they were still young." Lession sighed, "Once they became teenagers, you can hardly bond with them just like my daughter and son."

Gusion and Lesley smiled upon hearing their conversation.

They were both sitting on the rocking chairs, side by side, while they were holding hands.

"Love?" Gusion called Lesley.

Lesley hummed in response.

"I'm glad we got to see our grandchildren being raised by our sons and daughters." He weakly said.

Lesley smiled with that and looked at their daughters and sons with their own families, "I'm glad too."

Gusion looked at his wife. After all these years, she still looked beautiful in his eyes, even with white hair and wrinkled skin.

He slowly reached for her face, making her looked at him.

"I love you." He gently said.

She smiled at him, "I love you."

They just stared at each other, as if they were memorizing their faces.

"Gusion." Lesley called him gently.

He hummed in response.

"I'm tired..." She weakly said.

"I'm tired too, love." He smiled weakly, "Let's rest together?"

Lesley nodded slowly, "See you again, love."

"See you in next life, my Ellie." He responded.

Both of them closed their eyes as they took their last breath with smile on their faces.
