Chapter Twenty Five

Gusion was silently walking inside the premises of his old school in college. He didn't know why he was here but something in him was telling him to visit his old school.

Claude couldn't tag along since he was out in the wildlife once again. Actually, Irithel was out for some rescue mission in the wildlife. She and Claude were volunteers. Irithel was actually specializing medicines for animals.

Gusion thought he would be here in peace but someone called him, and he knew that voice.

He walked faster and ignored the one who called him.

"Gusion! Hey! Wait!" Guinevere said while coming out from Lance's car.

Sighing frustratedly, he stopped and gave her a bored look, "What?"

"You're so harsh. I'm not into you anymore, just so you know." Guinevere said while raising one of her eyebrows.

That lighted up Gusion's face, "Really?"

"Yes, that's why I called you just to say that. Like- duh? You aren't the only one good looking here in the world." Guinevere rolled her eyes, "I prefer the mysterious type now."

He didn't know why but he thought of someone who looked like an emo but he didn't even know him.

Weird.

"Well, that's good to hear. It's about time for you to stop chasing me." Gusion said.

"Yeah." Guinevere smiled, "It took me years to realize that I've been running and my finish line was running away from me too. I got tired."

Gusion felt bad a little. But he always tell her before that he wasn't interested with her and he didn't even gave her any false hopes. It was her own decision to still chase him after he cleared that he would never liked her.

"Good to know that you matured now." He said.

Guinevere just hmmph'ed before walking away from him.

Gusion just shrugged and continued his way towards his former department building.

He felt nostalgic while walking in the corridor and seeing his former professors doing lectures with their class.

He stood in front of the faculty room of his former professors when he heard someone called him.

"Gusion Paxley?"

He turned and Gusion smiled after bowing his head to the dean of his former department, "Ms. Rafaela."

"What brings you here?" Rafaela asked him and opened the faculty room, "Come in."

Gusion bowed and entered the faculty room. He saw there his former professors like Mr. Kaja and Mr. Uranus. They offered him to take a seat so he did.

"How are you?" Kaja asked.

"I'm fine, Sir Kaja. It feels nostalgic when I was walking in the corridor earlier." Gusion answered.

"Congratulations on the success of your studio. You really have an exceptional skill." Uranus said.

"It's because I have great staff, Sir. It's not only because of me." He humbly said.

That made his three professors smiled.

"You really deserve what He gave you." Rafaela said.
