I cry. Vanessa didn't answer. BOOM!The sheer force of whatever fell behind us was enough to knock us off our feet. The monster advances, its eyes locks with Vanessa's. I stumble to my feet. "Vanessa!" I scream. Her head turned just as the monster pounces. Without thinking, I launch myself in between the monster and Vanessa, shielding her from the long talons. I felt the claws digging into my skin and ripping the skin, giving me a long deep gash. My vision blurs. Pain embraces me. Then my vision blacks out completely.

A woman wearing a cloak was standing next to a man with a tropical shirt on. He had jet black hair (Like mine) Handsome features and sea green eyes, that resembled mine. I couldn't see the features of the woman in the cloak, but she had this whitish mist surrounding her. "Hecate" the man said. "I need a favor." " What can I do for you Lord Posidien?" "I need you to make a protective shield on these. Make it so it protects anyone who wears it." He held out two necklaces, one that looked exactly like mine and one that looked like the one Vanessa has. "Why?" She asked. " the half bloods have the power of me and Athena. She predicts that monsters will go after them twice as much as the childen of Zeus, Hades, and I." He explained. "They need extra protection." "Why do you what to help them?" Hecate asked. " They are my children" "Why else?'" " Athena predicted that they could help us with our problem." "Hecate snorted. " And what if they fail?" He looked her straight in the eye. "THen all hope is lost."

I regain enough consciense to relize that Vanessa was screaming in my ear. Blood is flowing down my shirt. The girl rushes to help us. The beast was laying on the ground with a stick slicking out of its eye. She rushes next to me. "what happened?!" she asks franticly. " One of the perf girls, Addison, changed into a wolf thing!" Vanessa cries. "SHe attacked us and she almost got me, but Lily saved me." "Lily?" Piper asks confused. "Oh thats the name of this girl. Go on" Vanessa rencounters what happened, But I wasn't listening. One thought lurks. "That was my necklace, and I left it at my house. "Then everything went black.
