Oh my gosh. I did it. I won nationals. Me, Madison Nicole Ziegler won nationals.
I scanned the crowd for my mom and Mackenzie who would be jumping out of their seats.
Then it hit me. They werent here.
They weren't home.
They weren't any where.
"And in first place, Madison Ziegler with Halo!"
I shook off the grief and smiled ear to ear.
Mom would be proud.

"MADDIE YOU WON!" Chloe screamed happily in the car.
Christi offered to drive home since I couldnt take the ALDC bus.
I smiled
"Chloe we both won techincally"

"Fine we both won but you won more" Chloe smirked.
Gotta love chlo.
"Soo who are you going with to home coming?" Chloe said with a chuckle.
As if any boy would bring me to home coming.
I was average, pale skin, brown hair. My blue eyes were an asset but not as much as Chloe's gorgeous Golden blonde hair.
"Chlo we all know that I'm going alone, if I even go"
"NOOOOO Maddie cmon come it will be fun! Plus the new kid will be there" Chloe winked.
