Best friends in care

Chapter 3. May-Li Madness

May-Li was sitting in her office, minding her own business and it was another normal day. Scott was doing the same.

The kids were making plans for Jody and Tyler's party, better known as Jyler now.

They decided they would not tell Scott and May-Li that Tyler was coming, they were certain that there wouldn't be a problem with it.

As Floss was the leader of the "Jyler party committee" (or at least that's what all the kids had decided to call it) she needed to make sure everyone was in line, doing the right thing.

"Everyone, listen up! Jody is obviously lovesick and missing Tyler, so we need to make this the best party ever!" Everyone nodded in agreement and Chloe said "Shall we make it like Prom? So they can dance together?"

Jay shook his head at Chloe and said: "That's only going to bring back sad memories of when they were together, and they'll have to go apart when Tyler goes back to St Lucia, won't it?"

Bird was visible to be slightly nodding but Katy and Taz had an "I don't know" face on. Then Nazeer said "Hey, Jay! That was a good idea from Chloe. I don't know what the Prom was but if Tyler and Jody had a good time there it's a good thought."

Here was the ongoing battle between Nazeer and Jay and with that, Jay took the last word and said "You just said it yourself, you don't know what the Prom was." and ran casually into the kitchen, trying to look for sweets.

"Oh no, Nazeer. He was right, and now he's stormed off." Chloe wheeled her wheelchair out, and went to the kitchen, saying to Jay "It's ok, my idea was bad, please come back your great."

Jay walked behind Chloe's wheelchair and gave a smug smile to Nazeer, Jay was winning the battle now!

He went back so that Chloe could see him "No, your idea was good, keep it and go and plan it with Nazeer and the others." exclaimed Jay, who was and had been, putting on an act.

Jay continued to look for sweets and Chloe went back to the others, who were in the small area with a comfy sofa and round table.

She looked confused because usually Jay never just lets go of things like that, but nevertheless, continued to listen to Floss.

"Right, so Chloe we are going to start planning the Prom now, thank you, everyone, for coming to this Jyler Party Committee meeting, the next one is tomorrow at 10 o'clock, I'll see you then."

Floss smiled and everyone went off to do their own thing. Chloe was now even more confused, she had known that Floss liked party planning, but why was she doing something for Jody and Tyler, that didn't have something in it for herself.

Floss had always been someone to like getting stuff for herself, so why was she doing a Prom for Jyler?

The next day Jody woke up, as lovesick as she was the previous day, but she didn't know what was coming!

She got out of her bed, stretched out and then started her regular morning.

She got up, went into the bathroom and waited in the long, long cue, to get ready. Why did the cue have to be so long?

Over Jody went to the end of the cue, waiting behind, Viv, Bec, Jay and Floss, who always seemed to get the front of the cue. The person directly in front of her was Candi-Rose, who couldn't stand that she wasn't looking glamorous.

She looked like she was going to have a heart attack, or a beauty attack if the cue didn't hurry up. Jody was used to the cue and had been for about ten years, so it didn't really bother her.
