-Jasmine's POV-

I had just finishing running some errands after lunch, so I had the rest of the day to relax. My only other job for the day was editing some pictures for a client, but I had finished that this morning.

"Look at me being productive,"I smiled to myself proudly as I put away the last of the groceries. Little victories throughout the day are important to celebrate. Of course, for me that usually involves ice cream. But since I had some free time, I wanted to do some baking.

As I was about to go gather the ingredients from my cabinet, I got a FaceTime call. It was Niall.

I held up my phone and answered the call. "Hey Niall."

His smile filled the screen. "Hi, Jas. Whatchya up to you?"

"About to bake some brownies,"I said, raising my eyebrows. I already knew how he was going to respond to that.

"You better give me some."

I laughed. "I'm the one doing all the hard work. I don't know if I can just let you eat my creation without working for it."

He chuckled and said,"Fair enough. How about I come over and help you then?"

"Only if you promise not to set them on fire,"I smirked.

Niall threw his head back, laughing. "No promises, but I will certainly try my best."

I said,"Okay, I believe you. Come quickly. I'm hungry."

"Okay, give me 10 minutes. I'll be there,"Niall said quickly before hanging up.

I smiled to myself as I got the ingredients out. Niall leaves such a warm feeling in my stomach every time we talk. I'm so glad our friendship hasn't changed since the tour days. The birthday party was a week ago, and since then, we have talked every single day.

The doorbell soon rang and I let Niall in. "Hello!"I exclaimed, giving him a hug.

He wrapped his arms around me and swayed in place. "Hey, angel,"he mumbled into the top of my head.

I took his hand and led him into the kitchen. "I'm so hungry. Let's get started,"I said.

Niall laughed, looking at the setup I had put together

Niall laughed, looking at the setup I had put together. "Okay head baker, what do you want me to do?"

"I'll do the wet ingredients, you do the dry ones. That's harder to mess up,"I said, pushing a bowl to him.

Niall dramatically gasped. "I'm so offended,"he said.

"Well I'm not the one that set toast on fire,"I smirked.

He grinned, looking at me. "You're never going to let that go, are you?"

"Not for a while, babe,"I said, putting my hand on his shoulder.
