-Jasmine's POV-

Niall had asked to hang out, so I suggested we meet up at the Beachwood Cafe for brunch. It was a spot that I accidentally discovered when I first come to LA, and it has remained my favourite since. I even got Harry obsessed with it. Obsessed enough to mention it in a song that he apparently wrote about me. I still find that hard to believe, or maybe I'm just in denial.

I walked in and saw Niall in a corner booth. He immediately smiled at me, and I walked over to him.

Niall stood up to give me a hug. "You look great,"he mumbled before sitting down.

I sat down across from him. "Did you get here okay? Did people recognize you?"I asked.

He chuckled, taking a sip of his coffee. "It was fine, didn't really see anyone,"he replied.

I nodded. "Sorry for being late. I got stuck in traffic,"I sighed.

"No worries,"Niall smiled.

A waitress came over to take my order.

"I'll just have a cappuccino please,"I said.

"You got it. Anything to eat, darling?"she asked, writing on the notepad.

"Um, I'm okay. Niall?"I asked.

He looked at the menu and said,"I'll just take some scrambled eggs with sausage. And some French toast for the lady." He shot me a smile.

"Oh, no. I'm okay,"I insisted, shaking my head.

Niall gave me a look. "Jas, you have to eat something." He turned to the waitress and said,"That'll be all. Thank you." The waitress finished writing down the order and walked away.

"Niall, I'm not even hungry,"I said.

He replied,"I'm not letting you just sit there and watch me eat. And I know you love French toast, so don't even lie to me."

I laughed lightly. "You know me so well."

The waitress came over to give me my cappuccino. "Your food will be out shortly,"she informed.

"Okay, great. Thanks so much,"I smiled before she walked away.

I took a sip of the coffee and sat back, smiling. "I love this place so much,"I breathed.
