Scorpio POV:
I couldn't help but stare at Leo from across the classroom. Today, she looked absolutely stunning with her long, silky brown locks cascading down her shoulders.
"EARTH TO SCORPIO!" Taurus shouted, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Whoa, since when did you acquire such a booming voice?" I asked, shielding my ears playfully.
"The real question is when did I not?" Taurus smirked in response.
"CLASSSSS, QUIET DOWN!" Mrs. Doge's piercing voice resonated through the room, even louder than Taurus. I wondered if it was even humanly possible to be that loud.
"KATE, SHUT UP THIS INSTANT!" Mrs. Doge bellowed at the poor girl sitting in the back.
"But Mrs. Doge, I wasn't talking," Kate tried to explain.
"Don't talk back to me, young lady!" Mrs. Doge interrupted, her voice dripping with authority.
"But—" Kate attempted to speak again.
"OFFICE, NOW!" Mrs. D yelled once more, her voice cracking slightly. I couldn't help but feel sorry for the girl.
Kate stood up and walked out of the classroom. As I glanced to my left, I noticed Aquarius peacefully sleeping in the troll's evil den of a classroom.
"Now, Scorpio, care to explain why you're staring at Aquarius?" Mrs. Doge's voice carried a harsh edge.
"No, ma'am," I responded, careful not to upset the troll or disturb Aqua's slumber. I had made that mistake before, and I had no desire to repeat it.
"Very well. Any more comments from anyone?" Mrs. D's gaze swept across the room, but her eyes hardened upon seeing Capricorn raising his hand.
"I would," Capricorn spoke up, his voice laced with defiance. I couldn't blame him; who could stand being married to someone like Mrs. Doge? She had sent Kate to the principal's office without any reason, while Aquarius peacefully slept in her class without consequences.
"Yes, Mr. Marque," Mrs. Doge responded, her eyes growing sterner.
"I'm curious, why did Kate get in trouble for not speaking, yet Aquarius can sleep in class without facing any consequences?" Capricorn inquired, genuine curiosity in his voice.
"Who gets in trouble or not is not your business," Mrs. Doge shot back, her glare resembling that of a vengeful deity. I couldn't help but gulp, knowing all too well the repercussions of earning such glares from her.
"See me after class," she added, causing a shiver to run down my spine.
Sagittarius POV:
(Time skip: Lunchtime)
I scanned the cafeteria frantically, searching for my sister. But she was nowhere to be found. Aqua never missed lunch, not ever.
"AQUA!" I called out, panic creeping into my voice.
"Bro, chill. What's the matter?" Cap asked, concerned.
"Chill? How can I chill when my sister is missing?" I replied, my voice filled with desperation.
"Wait, Aqua is missing?" Cap's face twisted into a mask of fear.
"Yes, I just yelled that. Are you deaf?" I responded, my words tinged with anxiety.
"Any idea where she might be?" Cap tried to calm me down.
"That idiot is always running off and I'm the one that has to save her" I muttered, trying to push down my overwhelming anger.
