"W-why are you here?"

"Oh Ella, I go here."

"RIGHT." CEDRIC EYES him up and down, the smug smirk never leaves Archie's lips.

I finally find my voice, still quiet, but loud enough to be heard in this intense silence.
"W-why are you here?"
He throws his head back and laughs.
"Oh Ella, I go here. All those years ago when I wasn't there except for the summer, where do you think I was?" He smirks.

That can't be possible. He had never been here before... unless he somehow knew I was here and transferred.
"Where is E-Enid?" I ask, hoping that she wasn't here as well. Archie was worse, but with both of them, I don't think I could survive this year.

I hadn't seen either one in four years and I was happy. I didn't think I'd ever see them again.

"That headmaster is a total bore, don't you think?" She says as she walks over to Archie's side. I tense up even more than I already am.

"Oh, look who we have here. Long time no see, Ella." She smirks and her eyes wander over to Cedric.
"Who's your friend?" She twirls her hair flirtatiously. Cedric squeezes my hand as he stays silent.

"Playing hard to get, I see."

"I wouldn't waste your time with them. They're no one of any importance." A voice perks up.
Malfoy struts over to us, a smirk played on his lips.
"I, on the other day,..." he puffs out his chest to try to look bigger.
Archie cocks an eyebrow, looking him up and down, meanwhile Enid looks like she's ready to pounce onto him.

"Archie Crowe." He holds out his hand and Malfoy shakes it.
"Draco Malfoy."

"And, I'm Enid." She winks at him, Draco smirks.

I shift on my feet, feeling uncomfortable. The three people I hated most were all standing in front of me.

Cedric clears his throat causing all of them to look at him.
"Anyways as I was saying, Ella and I have quite the history, don't we?" He smirks and puts his arm around my shoulder, I tense up immediately.
When he does, I flinch causing Draco and Cedric to give me questioning looks.

I try to steady my breathing as his grip tightens. I look at the floor and clench my fists at my sides.

"Well, it's pretty late." Cedric grabs my hand a pulls me away from Archie. He pulls me behind him, in a guarding way. "Bella, and I should get going."

"'Bella.' How cute." Enid teases and Cedric clenches his jaw before pulling me away from then and towards the common room.

"Who the hell are they?" I swallow the lump in my throat. I knew if I told him he would go ballistic and most likely get expelled from Hogwarts, and I couldn't have that.
