"So good for the love birds to join us."

"DOES IT HURT terribly, Draco?"

"DOES IT HURT terribly, Draco?"

"It comes and goes. Still... I consider myself lucky. According to Madam Pomfrey, another minute or two... and I could've lost the
arm." Draco over exaggerates at the Slytherin table.
Me, Hermione, Harry, and Ron look over to the Slytherin table. I roll my eyes. He's such a drama queen.

"The little git. He's really laying it on thick, isn't he?"
"No shit."
"At least Hagrid didn't get sacked."

"I wouldn't be so sure of that. I hear Draco's father's furious. I don't think we've heard the end of this." Hermione leans on her hand and pokes her fork at her roast beef.
"Why can't the Malfoy's just worry about their hair or something, instead of trying to ruin everyone's lives? I can't-" Seamus sprints over the the Gryffindor table, and slams the Daily Prophet down on the table beside me, making everyone jump.

"He's been sighted!"
"Who?" I ask taking a bite out of my apple.
But once I take a look at who is on the cover, my question is answered. Sirius Black.

Hermione takes the paper, and whisper half to herself, but loud enough for the people close to her to hear.
"Achintee? That's not far from here..."
"You don't think he'd come to Hogwarts, do you?" Neville asks, slightly trembling. I reach over and pat his shoulder in assurance.

"With the Dementors at every entrance? I don't think he would even step one foot in here. We're safe here, Neville." I give a smile.
"He's already slipped by them once, hasn't he? Who's to say he can't do it again?" A girl named Lavender Brown from Gryffindor says.
I turn to her and whisper harshly through gritted teeth. "You're not helping."

"That's right. Black could be anywhere. It's like trying to catch smoke. Like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands." A stubby dark skinned boy named Bem says.
I look over to Harry and see that he is spaced out, probably thinking.
I grab me and Harry's stuff, then nudge him and nod my head in the direction of the doors. We walk out, and I grab his hand. In a friendly gesturing course.
He holds it back, and I notice him looking down.

"Hey, what's wrong? I can tell something's bothering you." He looks up and shrugs.
"What is he's not just after me? What if he tries to hurt you? Or Ron, or Hermione? I don't want you getting hurt because of me." He pauses and looks down, then back up.
"He said that Sirius Black was a supporter of Voldemort, so he has to be as bad as they say."
I search Harry's eyes for emotion. And sure enough I see fear. He's scared.

"Oh, Harry." I wrap my arms around him tightly. "He's not going to hurt any of us. I swear to you. I won't let him. Remember in year one, when you-know-who tried to kill you, I didn't let him. Ron didn't let him, Hermione didn't let him. But most importantly, you didn't let him. And in year two. That's the great wizard you are. I won't- we won't let him even go near you. You don't even need us. You're strong enough-"
"But I do. I need you. Without you guys, I wouldn't be who I am today." We break away from the hug, and look into each others eyes, noses almost touching.
