Nintai Hikaru - 忍耐光 (Name meaning endure/patience and light)
Quirk: Finger Lights —As the name suggests, the user's fingers are similar to lights, flashlights, to be more specific. With light impact on the finger or hand, such as a flick, the fingertips of the user emit a beam of light similar to that of a flashlight. Each phalange has this ability and the size of the light beam is determined by its fingertip width.
Quirk Cons: The light emitted isn't strong and doesn't travel far. The light can be compared to the average, small, handheld flashlight of the same size.
Background: Hikaru is a talented mechanic that enjoys creating support gadgets and enjoys the merit of seeing potential heroes benefitting from her creations. She isn't afraid to get down and dirty and hates seeing people pretending to enjoy the usage of her gadgets, which is why she spends so much time on them. Unlike her self proclaimed rival, Hatsume Mei, she finds success more often than failure, but is never satisfied with the final product so success is seen as failure. As a hobby, Hikaru is a designer with a signature detail of a small sun with rays and tends to add this feature to her gadgets as habit. When she first announced her enrollment at UA, her hero friends asked her to design their costumes and is a small recognized designer.
Appearance: Hikaru hates spending money so she wears cheap clothes from thrift stores, which are usually baggy on her. Common articles of clothing in her closet are Tees and shorts, but she thinks overalls are necessary when working since it's like a uniform for mechanics. She doesn't pay much attention to her appearance since she would get dirty working; her appearance is similar to that of a cartoon character where she doesn't change. Hikaru has long, black hair with an undercut style because the hair behind her ear gets in the way of her safety goggles. She usually ties her hair in a ponytail and is actually hard to see her with her hair down. Hikaru's skin is pretty pale since she's a shut-in and has dark circles from her nonexistent breaks.

Favorite Tool: Power drill —Hikaru doesn't have any particular reason to liking the power drill, other than the fact that she enjoys the sound it makes because it is soothing to her. The drill is often lot taken from her because she falls asleep using it, which is obviously a safety hazard.
Fun fact: Hikaru's quirk was inspired by my wandering mind from the origin of aliens to ET to ET's finger to her. I also planned to make her quirk a Useless Quirk, but I thought about how helpful it would be for someone work-addicted mechanic who rarely sleeps.
Fun fact #2: Hikaru is often dragged from her workspace to help her fellow mechanics light up difficult spots.
Fun fact #3: Because Hikaru's preferred way to "light up" is snapping her fingers, she has a pretty loud snap compared to the average person. People know she's really digging into her work when they hear her snap.
Fun fact #4: Hikaru is one of the few OCs that I actually have an idea for her appearance. Most of my OCs don't have Appearance filled out because I think letting others create their own version of my OCs is fun. (Lotsa fun facts, huh)
