so i gave hyunjin a quick peck on his lips before leaving to meet up with yeri. i hadn't seen her since our graduation so i was really excited.
of course, things would be a little different between us now since we A) both had a serious relationship and B) weren't horny teenagers anymore. i chuckled at the thought of fooling around with her again, i could not see myself doing that.
i was so in love with hyunjin, no one else would even stand a chance against him and i'm sure the same thing would apply to yeri because of seungmin.

i walked over to the park where we were supposed to meet, receiving a quick backhug that startled me a bit. i turned around to see the brown haired girl laughing, holding out one of the two coffee-to-gos she was holding.
"woah, that was unexpected-", i grinned, pulling her in for a proper hug before grabbing the coffee she had bought for me.
"thanks for the coffee!"

"ah, no problem!", she smiled, "i thought i'd treat you since you used to pay for my drinks back then." she winked, making me remember the times where i had slept over and we had been so... busy, that she wouldn't have time to pack some lunch for school anymore. since that was partly my fault, i used to buy her food at the cafeteria or from the vending machines.

"lost in thought?", she giggled, taking a sip from her coffee cup. "yeah... we were so foolish back then.", she frowned, "hyunjin is one lucky guy, that's for sure."
"and so is seungmin.", i grinned, starting to walk along the park trail with her.

"seungmin?", she raised an eyebrow at me.
"uhm.. yeah? aren't you two a couple?", i smiled, a little confused.
she started laughing. "you fell for it! haha yeah of course he's my boyfriend, i just wanted to confuse you!", she playfully hit my shoulder, almost making me choke on my coffee.
"good one!", i laughed.

as we neared a huge bridge, i started feeling a bit dizzy. my knees went a little weak but it didn't seem like something to worry about too much.
however, i didn't wanna push my luck.

"hey, yeri? could we maybe stop here for a while? the view is so nice!", i said while pointing at the river under us. i somehow didn't want her to know that i wasn't feeling so well.

looking back at this i should've realized..-

"sure!", yeri said, dragging me to the metal railing. "you're right, it really is beautiful out here.", she smiled, eyeing me as i was resting my arms crossed on the railing and laid my head down on top of them.

"minho.. you don't look so good, is everything alright?", she asked, placing a warm hand on my shoulder.
"yeah, i guess i just didn't drink enough today or something. don't worry about it, noona.", i smiled lightly, resting my cheek on my arms now to look at her.

"you know... i might have something that could make you feel better.", she said. her expression and words seemed so gentle, full of kindness.
"you do?", i asked, wondering what this was all about.

she just giggled and told me to close my eyes. i did, waiting for something to happen. i could hear her rummaging around in her pocket.

"open your mouth a bit."
"what is your plan?", i laughed quietly, almost feeling as if she would kiss me but still following her orders. if she'd do anything like that - which i did not seriously suspect - i could still pull away.

before i could even finish my thoughts i felt a small glass pipe being stuck in between my lips and could hear the clicking sound of a lighter.
i didn't make the connection early enough, my body was already inhaling, almost like it had been waiting to do this all day long.

i opened my eyes widely, staring at yeri who just giggled and waved a mini plastic bag with familiar little rocks in it.
"why did you-?", i said, not even realizing that i took another hit already.

"i saw you and jeongin going wild with this at his party recently, thought you might need some.", she smiled and stuffed the bag into the pocket of my jacket.
"don't use it all at once." , she warned, kissing my cheek quickly before walking past me.

i just stood there, staring at the water.
i didn't want this.
i didn't want this at all.
but my body didn't seem capable of stopping.

[a/n: I'm sorry i haven't updated in like two months..? oops :( but yeah idk i just wanted to clarify that yeri isn't from any kpop group or something; i named the girl from the on track mv yeri so that's what she looks like :)
also i can't really promise any regular updates atm, i will just try to write & update whenever i can :)
