Kirishima and Bakugou had been hit with a time travel quirk and they appeared in a dark room where the only light was coming from the desk light that was on.
A young black haired boy sat at his desk and Kirishima's eyes widened beside Bakugou.
"What is it?" Bakugou asked, turning his attention to him.
"Uh, n-nothing," Kirishima whispered.Bakugou kept his gaze at the young boy, who was holding something in his hand and staring down at his desk.
He wanted to take a closer look and stepped closer to the boy. He didn't seem to notice him, so Bakugou stepped a little further. The boy had red eyes that were pointed inwards, kind of like Kirishima's, that were staring at a piece of paper on his desk. The redhead had told him a while ago that he used to have black hair... could this be him?
"Kirishima," Bakugou said.
A quiet 'hm' was heard behind him as Kirishima took a few steps forward towards Bakugou. "What is it?"
"This is you, right?" Bakugou asked without looking away.
"Tch," Kirishima grunted. "Yeah.."
The boy picked up a book and stared at it for a while, then threw it at the shelf behind him.
"The fuck?" Bakugou muttered.
Kirishima looked down and slightly closed his eyes.
A hologram of Crimson Riot fell to the floor and turned on. The black haired boy turned around in his seat and stared at the screen with wide eyes.
Bakugou saw the present Kirishima also bring his gaze to the screen as they watched the interview.
The boy's shoulders seemed to have gotten tense as he slouched in his chair, his shoulders trembling as tears fell from his eyes and onto his fists.
"Y'know," Bakugou said, dragging Kirishima out of his blank gaze. "You look ugly when you cry. I don't like it."
"Hey!" Kirishima lightly punched Bakugou's arm. "Gee, you don't have to be so rude about it. I know I look ugly when I cry."
"No," Bakugou said quietly. "You're cute when you cry. I just... don't like seeing you like that."
Kirishima stared at Bakugou, his mouth making a small 'o' shape.
"You're fucking amazing," the blonde said.
Visions flashed in Bakugou's head as he sat beside Kirishima and held his hand tightly. I can't wait to have fucking kids with him.
"I never knew what love was.. what it felt like, until I met you, Eiji," he said without looking up from the floor. "Your quirk is amazing, I'm sure anyone else would love to have that quirk."
Bakugou looked up and saw tears streaming from Kirishima's eyes.
"Stop fucking crying," Bakugou said, engulfing his boyfriend in a hug.
"It's-" Kirishima hesitated and wrapped his own arms around Bakugou. "I love you."
"I'd fucking kill for you too," Bakugou whispered. He pulled away. "If anyone were to call you 'useless' or boring again, I'm beating them up."
"I-" Kirishima paused. "Alright then."
"I want to hug that one too," Bakugou muttered, pointing to the old Kirishima. His black hair suddenly started to fade as the rest of the room started to also fade.
"What's happening?" Kirishima asked as he held Bakugou's hand.
"Quirk probably wore off," Bakugou replied. "I love you, Ei."
Kirishima smiled and kissed him as the room completely faded around them.
