Clouds flashed on the sides of Kirishima's vision as he soared through the sky, feeling the wind blow in his face. A large shape flew above Kirishima and he looked up, coming face to face with a blonde with the same crimson coloured eyes as him.

"Race?" Bakugou offered, his dragon stopping beside Kirishima's as he nodded.

"To that mountain over there?"

Bakugou nodded as the two shot off into the distance. Kirishima's dragon looped through gaps between rocks and skimmed the surface of the water. He looked around and saw a shape flying around the clouds, and it seemed to be catching up as time went by.

Kirishima's dragon landed on the top of the mountain, the wind gusting out in all directions he did so. His dark hair was stuck up in tufts and his hand reached over to straighten the mess. He hopped off Ember and gave her a small pat before turning his head in the direction he had come in.

"Fuck!" Bakugou's voice drifted through the wind as he got nearer. "I'm gonna fucking beat you next time."

"I've beaten you the past week," Kirishima chuckled, taking a step back to give Bakugou and his dragon some room to land. "What's wrong? Is Flame sick?"

"There's nothing wrong with Flame!" Bakugou yelled, balling his hand into a fist as he stood in front of his dragon.

"Alright man," Kirishima said as he climbed back on his dragon, who lowered her wing as the redhead flopped onto the equally as red scales.

Bakugou frowned and flew off into the direction of their village.

"Hey!" Kirishima called, signalling for Ember to fly after him. "Wait up!"

The two boys arrived at their village and two little dragons came to greet them as Kirishima and Bakugou hopped off their dragons.

Kirishima recognized them in an instant and looked up, seeing a tall bearded man.

"Dad! They're all healed!" he exclaimed, hugging one of the dragons as the other climbed up Bakugou, earning a few groans.

"Eijirou, you and Katsuki go play with these two for now," Kirishima's dad said. "Us adults have something important to do." He rubbed his son's equally as dark hair and walked away, leaving Kirishima with his friend.

"Adults?" Kirishima frowned. "I'm 16, I'm basically an adult!"

Bakugou made a "tch" sound and walked over to Kirishima. "Foolish asshole," he scoffed.

Kirishima pouted and stood up. "Anyways." He held the dragon in his arms, lifting it. "Can you fly?" he asked.

"Tch, dragons can't fucking understand you," Bakugou grunted and the small dragon let out a squeak.

"Bakugou's being grumpy again," Kirishima whispered to the dragon. "Let's fly." He hopped on Ember and the red dragon spread her wings, lifting off the ground.

Bakugou stared at Kirishima, smiling ever so brightly. Too bright, brighter than the sun. His mouth slowly curved into a smile as he thought of Kirishima. Out of all the kids in this village, he actually cared about Kirishima. He wasn't completely an asshole to him like he was to everyone else.

"Are you coming?" Kirishima's beautiful voice floated through the air and into Bakugou's ears.

"Yeah!" Bakugou called as he climbed onto his own dragon.

The day slowly passed and Bakugou was sitting on top of a mountain with his best friend and their dragons.

"Man," Kirishima sighed, rubbing Ember's snout. "You've gotta work on your aim, you almost roasted Bakugou."

The red dragon opened her mouth and blasted a ball of fire. It hit a weird looking rock in the distance and she walked away, sitting with Flame.

Kirishima frowned and looked over at Bakugou, whose carmine eyes were illuminated by the setting sun. He smiled, admiring Bakugou from head to toe. The bitchy expression he wore all day had seemed to soften a little. Kirishima smiled at the boy sitting beside him, how lucky he was to have Bakugou as a friend.

The blonde turned around and looked behind them. Kirishima did the same and saw Ember wrapped in Flame's wing and tail, as if the orange dragon was being protective of Ember.

"They sure are close," Kirishima smiled.

"Tch," Bakugou scoffed. "They've known each other since they hatched."

Kirishima widened his eyes. "Really?"

"You didn't fucking know?" Bakugou snapped.

The black haired boy shook his head. "Nope. Sorry."

Bakugou turned back to the sun that was slowly sinking behind the mountains. And right then and there, an idea popped into Kirishima's head. He'd seen Bakugou stare at him a couple of times, and he hoped with all his heart that the blonde felt the same way.

He leaned over and placed a kiss on Bakugou's cheek as the blonde stiffened.

"Shitty Hair," Bakugou muttered, staying in place. "What the fuck?"

Kirishima shrugged and pulled away, turning his gaze to the orange light in front of him.

"Ember and Flame are in love, but does that mean you should just randomly kiss me?" Bakugou said, seemingly angry.

Kirishima sighed. "Sorry." He slowly got up but before he could fully do so, he felt a hand grab his. He got pulled back down and his lips met the soft lips of Bakugou.

"I never said I didn't like you back," Bakugou frowned. "Dumbass."

Kirishima smiled, blushing.

"Let's fucking go, Shitty Hair," Bakugou called, hopping on his dragon as Kirishima did the same.
