A single mom working to make ends meet
Knowing that she won't make more than a man
A single dad trying to do it all
Bringing in the long haul
Will make more
Even though his family will still be poor
A female can work just as hard and never get the credit
She could work five times harder but it wouldn't matter
It'll her longer to climb the corporate ladder
A woman can be just as successful as a man
Even if sometimes she'll need a backup plan
Equal Pay for all
No excuse
No matters your gender, sexuality, or if your in your youth
Stand up with me as we fight for equal pay
The time is now , Today's the day
We want justice, we want truth
We want credit and to stop being used
