Relinquishing my fears

Without it, I don't know what I would do
If I only heard silence, perhaps I'd turn to violence
Perhaps I would cry
It hurts me just to say
That I've thought about what could happen if it were to be taken away
Music connects us all through a single beat, a single sound, a single song
Just to move things along
Music can not be wrong
And sometimes we just need a right,
Without a fight
It is the noise that brings the light
