* Writing Time, yay. Also, I'm literally so tired*
They tell you to be perfect to be pretty
That to be pretty, you must fit in
That if you look any different, no one will want to be your friend
They'll pressure you to change and do things that they say
But these people won't have your back at the end of the dayThey pressure you to break the rules
The rules of your family and the school's
But you don't want to get into trouble
That's not who you are
And while they're at it, they'll tell you that you should get a new carThey detest your family so you detest them too
And then, they begin to detest youIt doesn't matter how much you gave up for them in your quest to be perfect
Because they never did care
That you changed yourself so they would be there
But at the end of the day, they didn't have your back
They helped throw your life all out of wackAnd left so you would have to clean up the mess
* bloodu..... Is trying to tell you to embrace your individuality and stop letting other people pressure you into doing and into being something you don't have to be. Nor do you want to be.
