"What about their new dad?" Lucinda questions.
"No." Aphmau says in an unusual tone.
"I'm just saying."
"Lucinda. That's a little too far." I mutter.
"He's a cute guy too, with those dark eyes and black hair." Lucinda adds.
I give Lucinda a death stare. She notices and steps back a little.
"I'm not interested in that kind of thing right now. You do realise, we have so much going on in our world. It would be selfish of me to even think about a relationship and I dont want that to cross my mind." Aphmau says.
"Weren't you the one who told me the other day that stepping back and figuring things out isn't selfish." Lucinda replies. "I'm just saying, you two have been caring for Lilith Garnet and it's cute and a nice change of scenery. I'm sorry I didn't mean to imply anything was going on. It's just I never got to see my parents like that often. It warms my heart."
"Sorry Lucinda, I didn't mean to call you out like that." Aphmau says.
"It's okay, I know I can be blunt sometimes." Lucinda replies.
"Ahem... Sometimes?" I bat an eyelash in her direction.
Aphmau and Lucinda death stare me.
"Not that that's always a bad thing, I'm just..." Aphmau says.
"No need to explain... Though I am interested in how you came about knowing that man." Lucinda replies.
"Yea, how did you meet Aaron?" I ask.
"Uh I actually met him before I met you. He came with us to the Irene dimension." Aphmau says.
"Interesting... You're a magnet for some weird ones, aren't you?" Lucinda adds.
"Uh- Like you?" Aphmau replies.
"Hahaha! Well, I'm honored to be weird in that case." Lucinda replies.
"I missed you, Lucinda." Aphmau says.
"I missed your smile." Lucinda replies.
"Same. Umm I wanted to thank you for the blanket that you gave Lilith."
"I made it from a spell. Its nothing crazy but at least she's comfortable in a blanket and not a jacket... Though the scenery was-" Lucinda starts but is cut off by Aaron.
"Aphmau."
"Aaron." Aphmau turns and looks at him.
"She's tossing in her sleep. Can you come and hold her? Its hard to water her fuss in her sleep." Aaron says.
"Umm... Yea. I can do that. I'll be there in a moment. Lucinda, Anna, excuse me, I'll be back in a second. Ok?"
"Go love her." Lucinda says, smiling.

We finally arrive at our new home.
"We're here." Travis states.
Aphmau gasps. "Do you guys feel that?!"
"It's getting stronger..." Lucinda adds.
"That feeling from before...?" Katelyn questions.
"Yeah..." Lucinda mutters.
"No..." Travis mutters.
"This is-" Aphmau starts.
"I knew this presence was evil... But it's strange... It's a familiar evil..." I muttered.
Everyone who has magical abilities gets into a battle stance and Aphmau transforms into her Irene form and Travis transforms into his demon form. I reach for my staff but instead grab my sword and switch it to double bladed.
