"...I feel like I should be saying that." Garroth states.
"Who are- Wait- You! Your that thief from before, Amber's friend." Aphmau says.
"It's Kal'zul, I'm not surprised you don't remember me." The mysterious person announced.
Kal'zul? I look down at the three and see someone I both hated and disliked.
"However, I remember you, Aphmau. Hm... Wait..." Kal'Zul mutters. "Where are your ears."
"I told you I wasn't a Meif'wa, remember. No one at the guild believed me back then." Aphmau says.
"Well, I believe you know. You have to understand no thief trusts another thief completely..." Kul'Zul explains.
"You must have really made an impression on people as a cat. Aphmau." Garroth says.
"Apparently I have that affect."
"Heh, good thing I didn't spend that much time around you as a cat." Garroth stats.
"I still have the orb to turn back into a cat, you know." Aphmau replies.
"You know what actually, let's forget I asked. My head is starting to hurt." Kul'zul says.
"Right." Aphmau says.
I try and stand up on the branch I was laying on, to attempt to get down and announce my presence in a normal way, but a dizzy spell washes over me and I begin to feel nauseous. I end up falling, catching myself with my legs and begin hanging up side down, using only my knees to hold on to the branch.
Everyone turns and sees my hanging like a bat, in the tree.
"Uhh-..." Garroth stares at me, confused and concerned.
Aphmau looks at me like I'm her child and she has no idea what to do with me anymore.
"Oh... She's here?" Kul'zul says annoyed, starring at me.
Me, being the mature person I am, reply to that statement by sticking out my tongue. "I'm here for a valid reason, stupid-" I say, looking directly at Aphmau, "-but valid. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to stop hanging in the air, since I'm very nauseous."
When I climb down from the tree and gain my balance. "Ugh..."
"Are you ok, Lady Anna?" Garroth asks.
"Yep!" I say in a high pitched, non convincing way.
"Are you sure? You aren't the type to normally be clumsy..." Aphmau asks, with a very concerned look on her face.
"Yea... I know, I'm just stupid and reckless. I tried standing up on the branch to climb down but a dizzy spell took over me." I say, rubbing my now very sore head.
"I thought cats were supposed to land on their feet." Kul'zul states.
"If you didn't notice, I'm not a Meif'wa... I never was. I was cursed because I ran into this one and when you meet up with M'lady, hijinks ensure." I say.
"Hey!" Aphmau protests.
"She's not wrong." Garroth laughs causing him to gain a stink eye from Aph.
"Anyway... Kal'zul? What are you doing here?" Aphmau asks. "Amber said you left not long after Tu'La arrived in Nahakra."
"I did." Kal'zul says. "I'm looking for Amber. Do you know where she is?"
"Yea... She's back at the guild." Aphmau says.
"Or at least... WE THINK!" Garroth says, paranoid.
