CHAPTER 5

After that actual remake umuwi na kami. I called Missy that night and told her what happened. It's been 2 days from that day.

"Oh my gosh! Ang cute niyo siguro that time", Missy said. Andito siya condo para sabihin niya yung reaction niya. Mas maganda daw pag personal.

"Ako lang cute. Atleast ayos na kami", kwinento ko rin yung nangyare before that day, about sa lolo.

"What if invite natin siya sa next week Saturday? Para free drinks"

"I didn't know that we have plans for next week?", nagtataka kong tanong.

"It's been months nung nag hangout tayo noh.", she said.

"Edi tayong dalawa lang, why invite him?"

"Syempre the stronger the bond, there would be a metallic bond formed.", sabi niya. Minsan ang weird ng bestfriend ko.

"Kung ano ano rineresearch mo!", sabi ko nalang.

"May nakita kasi akong doctor kaya nainspire akong magreserach ng science, hanggang doon lang nakayanan ng utak ko.", pagkwento niya.

"New crush nanaman. Saan mo Nakita?", tanong ko.

"Sa pedestrian lane", prud niya pang sabi.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh gosh, you really have a weird taste.", patawa tawa ko pang sabi.

There's nothing bad naman to have crush in this age. We're already 26 years old pero hanggang crush lang kami and also if we talk about lovelife at this age should be taken seriously already especially it's about future. Pag tumatanda ka na dapat wala ka ng panahon para maglaro.

We just have a chikahan time today pero aalis rin agad si Missy because she's really a busy person. "Alis na ako, girl".

"Ingat!", at inayos ko na ang pinagkainan namin kanina. After that I went to the living room to watch shows in Netflix not until someone rang my condo. Sino kaya to?

Nagulat ako ng makita ko si Zimram sa harapan ko. "What's your number, Miss?", he asked suddenly. "Hit you up?", dagdag niya pa.

Napatingin ako sa hoodie ko na may caption na 'HMU'.

"Ang funny mo, oh anong kailangan ng malamig kong kapit bahay na condo?", tanong ko.

"Let's walk?", pagyaya niya sa akin.

"I'm your official strolling buddy na?", I asked jokingly.

"Ayaw mo ng officially mine?", banat niya naman sa akin. Ewan ko bat na affect ako doon.

"Alam mo, Zimram. Hindi ko tuloy alam anong gusto kong side sayo. Yung malamig ba or malambing?", naguguluhan ko pang sabi.

"Well", he licked his lower lips and stared at my beautiful face. "Take your time", he smirked.

I looked away because I felt something unfamiliar. Nakakakilabot! My heart is pounding so real hard.

"Gusto kong mag motor", I changed the topic.

He just looked at me and chuckled as if may iniiwasan ako. "It's dangerous, Rose", he said.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Sabihin mo, SHUAH na di ka talaga marunong", I emphasized his second name. Rose lagi niyang tawag sa akin eh.

"Challenging me, hottie?", he said at tumataas taas pa kilay niya.

So nasa parking lot na kami. I didn't know that he has motorcycle rin and because of it we had a deal race. "You can hit me up when you win, Shuah", I said confidently because I know I can win this race.

"Okay, I'll think about my deal when we reach our last point", he said coldly.

Pinaharurot ko na yung motor ko. I fixed my angle sa helmet so that it would be comfortable. Tinanggal ko muna ito at humarap kay Shuah. From now I'll be calling his second name para quits kami.

"Are you ready to lose, Shuah?", mayabang kong tanong.

Tumingin naman ang kanyang malamig na mata niya sa akin ang smirked. "I'm sure I'll be hitting you up the next day."

Hindi masyadong traffic papunta sa last point namin kaya't nakakahilig ako sa mga sasakyan dito but damn! Muntikan akong mabangga fuck buti nalang na side glance ko yung motor ko I don't have time to shout at the driver. Pasalamat siya.

"Damn, you're hot", pagkadating ko sa last point namin. Nauna si Shuah at nahuli ako ng ilang seconds. "Ilang second lang yun noh", nakabusangot ko paring sabi.

"Win next time, Rose. I'm gonna hit you up starting tomorrow", he said. Nag make face lang ako. Then there he is, infront of me again staring at my eyes. Ginulo niya ang buhok ko, "Next time, be careful. Muntikan ka na doon", he said softly. I can feel my face heating up buti nalang gabi.

"Ok, Shuah. Hit me up if you want pero marunong ka ba?", para hindi halata yung kilig ko.

"Challenging me again, hottie?", he said.

"Kidding!", I smiled at him na parang nang aasar.

The next day, pagkagising ko may text agad na bungad sa akin. It's from unknown number.

"Rose", sabi niya doon. I know who calls me that name.

"Zimram?", I replied.

"Shuah", naks fast replier.

Hindi ko nalang rineplyan at nag ayos na ako for work. Kumain na rin ako ng breakfast para di ulit mag alala ang aking bestfriend.

Pagkalabas ko sa condo, I Shuah leaning on the wall while playing his keys. Tumingin siya sa akin. "I'll drive you at work", he said. Nagulat ako syempre. "Is this how you hit me up?", I asked curiously. "Not yet in my level, Rose", sabi niya.

"Ok, let's go driver", I said while chuckling.

Sinamaan niya lang ako ng tingin gamit ng kanyang malamig na mata. Nagsimula ang aking araw na malamig dahil sa kanya tumaas nanaman ang aking balahibo. "Do you really stare coldly?", I asked. "It's where and how I live", sabi niya ng malamig.

"Kaya ka pumunta sa Pilipinas para mag painit?", sabi ko.

"I came here for business. I hate this country to be honest", he said.

"And I'm the business?", I asked and he just looked at me. "I'm just kidding. If you hate this country why do you need to stay here?"

"I'm not here for good not until I met friends here.", Oh aalis rin pala siya eh.

"Why hit me up then? Aalis ka rin pala paasa.", I said,

Nagkibit balikat lang siya sa akin. "I find you interesting. Maybe because of you I could overcome something.", he said.

"Hindi ako enetertainment ha. I'm telling you Shuah once I felt something weird upon you. Lalayuan na kita.", I said seriously.

"Okay", he said coldly. "but maybe, just maybe I could stay longer asides from business", he was staring me while saying that. Tumayo ang lahat ng balahibo ko sa iba't ibang emosyon na nararamdaman ko ngayon.
