I AM STUNNED. I DIDN'T MOVED.

HE KISSED ME IN THE FOREHEAD!!!

"Happy Birthday", He said softly.

CLOSE.OPEN.CLOSE.OPEN. MY HEART IS RAISING TOO FAST.

"I... Thank you", I still don't know what to say.

"Tss... I don't want to ruin your day. I'll cook your favorite food.", he volunteered.

I knew that time I'm blushing, I feel like a tomato!

Binuksan ko ang pinto and let him inside. This is what I wanted diba? Hindi na ako papaligoy pa. "You want sinigang?", he asked.

I nodded immediately. "Kahit ano basta masabaw". He looked at me as if I'm talking green. I just rolled my eyes. While I was waiting at him to cook, nagpalit muna ako ng damit. My phone rang.

"Hello, ma?", I answered the call of my mother.

"Happy Birthday! What do you want for your day.", si mama

"Happy Birthday anak! Miss you, visit us some other time okay?", si dad.

"Thanks, Miss you too! I'll visit next time", I said.

"Ano handa mo ngayon? Andyan ba si Missy?", they asked.

"I'm with someone po...", nanghihinayang ko pang sabi.

"Oh, pakilala mo sa amin. Bring that person here! This is the first time na di mo kasama si Missy.", she said.

Missy is only my friend. I don't celebrate public, ayaw kong nakikipagplastikan. Only special person or those who remember my birthday ang nakakasabay ko sa birthday ko and this is the first time na wala si Missy. How lucky, Zimram.

"Yah, if he has time", I said.

"HE?!", the reaction of my parents.

"Yes. Don't make a buzz about it again. Just some special affair", I said. Well we said awhile ago we're not friends. So special affair nalang.

"Okay, enjoy your day bago maging mahigpit ulit dad mo", mama said. I just smiled and ended the call.

I saw Zimram at the front of the door while looking at me. "It's already cooked", he said.

Naamoy ko ang bango ng sinigang para bang may sariling utak ang aking paa upang masundan ang amoy na iyon. My eyes glimmered when I saw a bowl of sinigang at the table.

"Let's eat?", smiling at him sweetly.

He nodded and sign of the cross. Manghang mangha ako sakanya. He is a cold heart man but looking at him praying, he's very adorable. Oh God please forgive me.

Pagkatapos niyang magdasal. I sat down at nanatili siyang nakatayo. He went near and served me. "Thank you".

He sat down pagkatapos niya akong iserve. Unang tikim ko sa niluto niya, it feels like sky. My thought are all washed away. He was just watching my movements. "Ang sarappppppppppppp", I said.

"Nag chef ka nalang sana", dagdag ko. "That profession is just for you, Rose", he said habang kumakain. I can feel my face heated up again.

Nagkwentuhan lang kami, not a catch up though. This is my kind of birthday, a peace. I want it simple because you know what is grand in your birthday? It's those who care for you and you, yourself. After eating that taste sky sinigang. Pumunta kami sa living room.
