As I step outside the building, I could see his car. He went out to to help me carry my things.
"Zimram!", someone shouted behind me, papapick up rin siguro, basura ba siya? Ah oo pala.
"Oh Zimrah", malamig na sambit ni Zimram, "I miss you!", sabay yakap sakanya at doon ko napatunayan ang kapal ng mukha ng babaeng toh. Nakita ko paano tinulak ng kaunti ni Zimram si Zimrah.
Tinanguan lang siya ni Zimram bilang paalam at pumasok na siya sa sasakyan. I smirked at her, "Hanap kana ng bago mong amo", I whispered at her before walking away.
"So you're abandoning your pet right now?", natatawa kong sabi kay Zimram ng nasa loob na ako ng sasakyan. "Tss", he just answered me coldly.
We are on our way to our condo building. So we planned to part ways when we have arrived in the parking area.
"Meett me nalang later", I said. He just nod at me. We arrived here in Q.C. ng 10 am Zimram carried our bags and brought it in his condo, I'll be visiting later, for now I have agendas to do.
I went to check my cars kung gumagana pa ba ng makaalis na ako. I received e-mails from Rain, my secretary, in the span of few days madami na siyang nakuhang mga importanteng detalye sa mga nangyayari.
Unknown calling...
Sino toh? I usually answer calls even it's unknown because I wanted to be sure especially for my investment and sponsors, either also some random important calls, but if it's some threat or missed call, I block it or sometimes report the number.
"Hello?", boses lalaki, "Is this Scarlet Naphine?", he asked.
"Hi! Yes this is Scarlet Naphine, what's the concern?", I asked formally.
"Si Gareth toh, Let", he said. Kumunot ang aking noon g marinig na siya iyon.
"Can we talk?", he added.
I sighed at his concern, "Sige, kalian?", I asked.
"Ngayon sana. I heard you're back, maybe you're available?", he said. "Send mo nalang yung venue, I'll go", I said and ended the call.
I immediately received a text from him. I texted Zimram,
"I'm going to meet Gareth later"
"Date?", he replied. "Maybe", I replied sarcastically.
"Okay then, text me when you're done, I'll just visit the site", he replied.
Hindi ko na rineplyan ng may nadaanan akong car wash, napansin kong naalikabukan na ang loob ng sasakyan kaya napagdesisyonan kong mag pa car wash muna.
"Full wash"
I waited 30 mins. Bago matapos nilang linisan ang sasakyan ko. I don't even bother if Gareth's waiting. Andon na daw siya eh. The restaurant that he send is just near here , kaya makakarating ako don without hassle.
Pagkatapos nilang linisan ang kotse ko, dumiretsyo na ako sa restaurant. Pagkapasok ko palang ramdam ko na ang aura ni Gareth, maraming tumitingin na babae sa kanya eh. His aura is like some goodish play boy, idagdag mo pa na mag isa niya sa table.
"I thought iindianin mo na ako", he said ng nasa harapan ko na siya. "Well, muntikan na", I said as a joke to clear the air, it's pretty awkward.
I sat down first, "What do you want? My treat", he offered, I just gave my orders to him and waited. It's been years that we've been like this with Gareth. Ngayon lang ulit kami nag kausap ng ganito.
"Kamusta? I heard that you're with Zimram na pala", he said ng tapos na siyang mag order.
"Yeah", I answered. "What's your agenda?", I asked bulgarly.
I saw how his reaction turned offended. He just sighed, "To have a friendly dine and some catch ups". In this times like this na namomoblema ako.
I rolled my eyes at him, "In short, to waste my time", I said it in statement.
"Okay... Bakit ka pumayag na makuha ni Zimrah companya mo? You know your company is clean?", he bursted it out.
I played with my tougue inside my mouth.
"Charade", I said seriously, I'm not scared to say what's my plan even there is a big possibility na sasabihin niya ito sa kapatid niya.
His mouth fropped in shock, "Ch...charade?! What?", he said.
"That's it... iyon lang ba?", I asked rudely. He was hesitated.
"I know you don't want to elaborate because you don't trust me... Please give me this chance to fix our problem in the past", he said suddenly.
Naiirita na ako, "A broken trust is like a broken glass, It's far from the same", I said.
Ang kanyang tanyag na balikat ay nanghinayang. "By the way take out mo nalang yung food na dapat for me, ibigay mo nalang kay Zimrah", bago pa ako tuluyang umalis...
"Trust is also being earned not begged, second thought around", I said while giving him genuine smile.
"Hangout soon", I added.
I'm happy that I said those to him. Gareth was my best of all in my friends, we ended up dating and the sad part of the story, trust finish our love story, how ironic right?
I texted Zimram that I was done talking to Gareth, I'm on my way for my real agenda.
"So you're like a good bitch ha?", the director of the board said.
"Just flow with my plan", I said.
"Ano pa nga ba? Boss kita eh", sarcastic niyang sabi.
I smirked at him, "So when will we release some of their trashy secrets?", I asked.
"The day", he answered mysteriously...
One thing why I was just low-key at my work because I wanted how the clean industry will lasts. I have sharp eyes and ears, not until I heard some illegal actions especially bribes. Andaming daming trabaho na bumabagsak dahil sa mga ganyan. I wanted to keep it healthy. Sisiguraduhin kong unang una babagsak ang mga maduruga, mga walang puso.
To unleash bigger problems, we should consider small problem as big problems too because this is where it starts.
After some little talk, I went to our condo, saw akas makakapag pahinga narin. Wala pa si Zimram sa condo niya dahil di pa siya tapos sa inaasikaso niya.
"Rest well, Rose", he texted me.
"Yup, make it fast mis na kita, honey babe", I replied a corny text.
"Okay, baby muchi :>", he replied.
And In that I have peaceful rest.
