𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐅𝐄𝐑 𝐋𝐄𝐅𝐓, both him and (y/n) were god's most beautiful creations, or so the mortal's said. so naturally, they stuck together. she knew he'd fallen for lilith and of course, gave him her support despite neither of them knowing what would happen. he fell from the heavens like a leaf would fall from a tree during autumn, so minuscule yet so beautifully tragic.
ever since he departed from her life, she grew to find comfort in mortals, the very thing that reminded her of her dearest luci, her brother, her confidant and her best friend. seeing how they loved each other reminded her of how lucifer and lilith fell in love. it made her heart warm ever so slightly, filled with longing to love and be loved back. but it's not like she'd ever get the chance.
she'd be banished.
naturally, she was also curious as to what hell was like. what was her old companion's home like? did it still have his rather rebellious sense of style? did he really punish sinners? it all seemed so cruel to her, mortals shouldn't be casted out or tortured, she never understood his ways. but it's not like she'd go and question him, it's not in her place to do so.
"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!"
the beautiful archangel's golden orbs shifted to look at gabriel, he seemed nervous about something.
"yes, gabriel?"
she soothed with a small smile grazing her gorgeous features, gabriel blushed and grinned in return.
"he wants to see you."
her eyes widened for a split second before calming herself once more. she gracefully stood up and picked her robes gently from the floor before fluttering her bewitching wings towards the council where he usually was alongside gabriel and the other archangels, excluding herself, after lucifer left, she gave herself the job to watch over mortals from above and guard the life scrolls of all beings, however, no matter how much she begged, she wasn't to venture down into the mortal realm.
"my children, come."
he beckoned us towards him in a serious tone, of course, me and gabriel flew towards him.
"(y/n) i trust you've been keeping track of the life scrolls."
the gorgeous angel nodded, her ethereal wings bobbing slightly with her head's movement.
"well, that settles that. (y/n), my child."
the petite archangel looked at him expectantly, what was it that he needed from her? it's the first time she's come to the council under these circumstances. well, this and when lucifer left.
"you're going to the human realm to watch over a mortal."
she gulped, excited beyond compare but nevertheless afraid. what if she wasn't a good enough guardian to her mortal? she knew the rules prohibited her from interfering with their life but, she couldn't help but feel she'd need to get her hands dirty to ensure her mortal's safety. after all, it was her duty to protect them.
