𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐍'𝐒 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐒, grunting, he dropped the carcass onto the grubby grass. the angel by his side winced, when had her darling doe become so ruthless?
"oh, al..."
he whipped his caramel head of hair towards the beautiful angel by his side. tears in her eyes she looked at alastor with a pained smile. the tall, lean man was known to be a manipulative cunt, toying with people's emotions, wants and desires and for some reason, seeing the very being he swore to protect from both himself and anyone else stirred some sort of emotion deep inside him, his chest bloomed with guilt.
"...mon ange, don't cry."
he whispered to the angel beside him, despite her levitating above the bloodied grass he was still taller than her.
"o-oh my darling al, why did i let you go down this path?"
she sobbed into her hands, crystalline tears dropping from her beautiful golden eyes. his heart wrenched looking at her that way, he couldn't bare it.
"mon ange, i'm so sorry you have to see this."
he softly uttered, his words completely true, before enveloping the delicate angel in his bloodied arms. they were lost in their own world, no care for anything that was happening around them.
that was, until they heard barking.
"ALASTOR, RUN!"
he nodded feverishly, before bolting away into the woods. she needed to distract the coppers, but how?
she conjured one of alastor's shirts in her hand and threw it to the other side of the forest, away from where he had ran. after a while, she reappeared beside her dearest al.
"oh- my darling fawn, this is my last day on earth."
he said with a sigh, looking at his darling angel that had looked over him for all those years. he had grown to love her more than killing itself, he could be honest, no conniving intentions, no schemes, just him. it was the purest of loves.
it was true love.
they heard the barking once more, and she couldn't bear it, she knew alastor would die today and she couldn't do anything about it.
"a-alastor, please! don't leave!"
he gave her a bittersweet smile, tears dropping from his hazel-reddish eyes.
"i love you, (y/n)."
she chocked out a sob, witnessing the love of her life, the man that gave her seemingly purposeless existence purpose, be devoured by police dogs. the gruesomest of sights, she never thought she'd see anything like it. his flesh and clothes were torn apart by the dog's fangs, his blood pooled under him as he thrashed around, trying to escape, his cries of agony filled the broken-hearted angel's ears.
"A-ALASTOR! NO!"
after what seemed like hours of torture, the police laughed mockingly and shot him square in the head.
