Chapter 6

Blake's POV
It had been an hour before I finished reading, mainly because I also read on other the anthros mainly on Jane and there species. Generally I felt relieved after reading that Sarah is technically in heat, but I just hoped that it wasn't going to last super long. As I sat back, I heard a knock at the door. I got up and walked over, wondering who it could be. I opened the door to see Jane and Jackie.

Jane: Hey, it's been awhile.

Blake: Yeah it has, come on in.

I invited them inside, and was surprised that Lauren and Sophia weren't with them. We all sat down in the living room, Jane in one of the chairs, and Jackie on the couch near me.

Blake: So, what brings you guys over today?

Jackie: Well, since it's almost Christmas we thought that we would stop by and see how you are doing.

Blake: Well, thank you. Now, usually Sophia and Lauren are with you. Not able to join you today?

Jackie: Yeah, they needed to put some finishing touches on what we are planning to do for the next block.

I nod, and it made sense. I looked over to Jane and she seemed off, and I don't mean like there is something off with her but she could tell something is off. I disregarded and continued talking.

Jackie: So how is Sarah, I haven't seen her in a while.

Blake: She's doing good, we actually had a christmas party with some of our friends a day or two ago.

Jackie: That sounds like fun. Was there a lot of people?

Blake: Not too many, just people we knew from school.

Jackie: Well at least you had fun.

We then heard another knock at the door and I went to go get it. I opened to see that Sophia and Lauren were there. I also invited them in and we sat down in the living room.

Sophia: Sorry we're late, we thought we would be done earlier but took longer than expected.

Jackie: No worries, at least your finished.

Blake: So, are you pretty much done with preparing for our next block of the year?

Lauren: Yes, and the school sent out an announcement that we have an extra week off.

Blake: That's nice.

I then notice that Jane hasn't spoken still and it started to worry me. Sophia noticed this and she got a smirk on her face.

Sophia: Hey Jane, going to be a speaker or a listener today?

She asked sarcastically but Jane didn't respond. We noticed this as I spoke up.

Blake: Hey Jane, everything okay?

She stayed silent for a minute or too till she eventually spoke.

Jane: Blake, may I ask you a personal question?

Blake: Uhh sure.

I said this wearily unsure of what she will ask.

Jane: Did perchance the relationship between you and Sarah go farther recently?

My heart skipped a beat and I wasn't exactly sure what to say. Instead I decided to ask a question.

Blake: What do you mean by that?

Jane got a bit nervous because of the question and Sophia noticed it but also noticed how I had been responding. She sighed before speaking.
