"He knows my house, he kissed me, and now he saw me naked!" I know I am exaggerating but the situation makes me feel like that.
"Do you have any idea what you sound like right now?" Molly is sitting on one of my sofas near the window. She is texting someone.
I look at her and then to Stacie who is still shocked until now. She's more shocked than me I guess. I can remember what she looked like when she found out it was Travis who "harassed" me in the fitting room. She looked like she had seen a ghost. Her eyes wide, her mouth gaped open, the blood left her face.
"You actually sound like you found your first boyfriend." Stacie says lamely. She is sitting on my ottoman positioned at the foot of my bed. She props her chin on her knees and leans on my bed's post with a pillow in between.
I let out a long deep sigh of despair. I sink myself on my bed and cover my face with my biggest pillow.
My father was baffled when he heard the centre's head security's voice calling him to inform that I am in their custody because a guy harassed me inside a fitting room of a negligee store.
Whose father would remain calm hearing that kind of news about his one and only teenage daughter? Raise your hand.
My father and Dr. Sheperds, the father, came almost at the same time. Travis is also a minor so he was forced to tell them who are his parents.
It was absurd because when the two fathers saw each other, they greeted and shook hands in front of us like long lost friends.
And when they learned from each other why they were there, a cordial meeting became tense. I hoffed.
It took us half an hour to settle the situation. My father almost punched Travis, only Edward was fast enough to stop him.
Travis explained he was there because he was tired of waiting for his cousin to finish shopping. He decided to go to the fitting room which the saleslady told him where exactly a lady fit of his description of a teenage girl, brown haired, olive skin had entered. The saleslady was even the one who gave him an idea that he can wait in the sitting room inside.
It was validated when the girl who Travis claimed his cousin and the saleslady came and explained their side. His cousin was truly a teenage, brown haired, olive-skinned girl. But he did not mention that his cousin is short. Around 5'1".
"So what will you do now?" Molly cut off my thoughts. She's still texting.
"Arrrgh!..Shake it off, shake it off!" Oh, even the song that says to just shake it off is also the song that I want to shake off from my brain. Oh how I hate this. I don't want to remember it all and I know from now on, that song will remind me of this tragedy. And it's my favorite shopping song! What a disaster.
Stacie let out a sigh "And the whole school knows about it." she gives me her phone for me to see and read her Facebook timeline.
Karla was raped?
I thought Karla was lesbian?
That ho' stealing good ol' Travs.
Karla and Travis busted making out inside a fitting room of a panty store. Hoorah! (insert beer icon)
"This is crazy! Who is this dumb shit?" I'm talking about the boy who posted the making out issue.
"That's Eman, the QB of the football team of Sterling High." Molly answers.
"Is that what you are doing right now?" I am looking at her wide eyed, she's not texting, she's chatting.
"Yes, i'm chatting with the squad. They are too nosy about it. They can't help it. The news is too juicy." she emphasized the last word as if there are other meanings out of it.
