Travis groans of exasperation.

"Well, let's go!" I sneak inside his car passenger seat without his permission.

"What is it now, Mia?" Travis leans on his seat, crosses his arms and focuses his gaze on me.

"As my boyfriend, you are obliged to take me home." I throw my bag at the back seat, smooth my skirt and enthusiastically throw my sweetest smile at him. He is so lucky. Every guy I know would trade their life just to see me smile like this. I shrug my shoulders and giggle of the thought. I totally replaced my cardigan with his polo. That would convince everyone that we are a couple.

Just perfect.

Travis snorts.

"I am going to the grocery." he says.

"I'll go with you." I decide.

"I might take some time. You're not going to like--"

"Just shut up and drive." I cut him off.

He glares at me but I smile at him sweetly in return.

After a while, he shakes his head in resignation and starts the car.

"Where's your car?"

"Juan fetched it. And it's going to be in the garage for a while." I blow some strands of my hair that fall on my face.

"And why is that?"

"From now on, we are going to school together and we..... go home together." I look at him quizzically waiting for a violent reaction.

"Oh no, that's not going to happen." Travis answers seriously. He is not smiling, not looking at me. He is just focusing his eyes on the road, jaw clenching, hands gripping the steering wheel too tightly.

"Well, it is. It is happening right now." I settle myself on my seat more comfortably.

We fall silent afterwards.

We pull over on the parking lot of the nearest grocery store from our houses. I unbuckle my seatbelt as well as Travis. He opens his door but before he comes out, I hear him say "Fix yourself before you get out."

He closes the door.

At first, I'm confused of what he means about fixing myself, I look at my face, my make up still flawless but when I glance down, I get it.

I come out the car when I'm done and Travis looks at me up and down. He nods approvingly and signals me to go.

I grin.

He likes what he sees.

I buttoned his polo up. I left the first two buttons loose. I did not fold the sleeves but I tied the hem at my navel. I am wearing high waist skirt so no skin are exposed aside from my legs. I also tied my hair into a messy bun because they are getting unruly by a minute.

I scuffle towards him. He walks so fast that I am struggling to keep up. He drags a big cart when we walk at the entrance.

I look at the size of the cart he has chosen.

"Is this a monthly grocery?" I ask him wide eyed. I did not expect that he really mean this to take a while.

"You can go home, call your chauffeur." he glances at me.

"Nope, I'm staying." I say hardheadedly. I stomp my foot like a petulant child.

"Ok..." He raises his both hands showing his defeat about the matter.

It's already thirty minutes that has passed, I think I picked the wrong footwears today. My ankles are beginning to ache and I'm irritated by Travis behavior.
