RUBEN'S POV
I walk into school the next day, with my arm around Alna's waist. We are both laughing and smiling, then Johnny walks up, a puzzled look on his face. He pulls me aside, promising Alma he'll give me back.
"What happened? I thought...." He trails off, running a hand through his hair.
"It was a mistake. Jimmy kissed her, and she was trying to push him away as someone took the picture. Okay?" I look at him, and he just nods. "So I'm going to go back to Alma now." I walk back over to her, and poke her side. "Let's go baby." I tell her, and we go over to our tree, laughing and joking the entire way. We sit there until the first bell rings, then head off to our separate classes.
