Holy shit, school is starting back next week. Fucking COVID, man. Damn. I'm still going to try and update more, tho.

Peter's POV:

This was it. This was the day that all the ex Avengers were coming back to the the tower. Tony was a nervous wreck. I was just ready to tell them that I'd be joining the Avengers as Spiderman.

I walked from my room down to the lab, looking for Tony. "Mister Stark, You in here?" Tony's head peaked out from behind a car. "Yeah, over here Underoos." I walked over to where he was rewiring the sound system in a '78 Camaro. "You ready to go up?" Tony sighed and stood up. "Not at all, kid." I nodded. I understood how weird it would be for Tony to see the rouges after all that time, even if they had all apologized to each other, approved of, and signed the new accords. "But, it's better now than later." I chuckled "Yeah, I guess."

Tony slung an arm around my shoulders. "Let's get this over with." We both strolled up to the living room where Pepper, Natasha, T'challa, Vision, and Rhodey were waiting. "They'll be here any minute." Pepper said. I took a seat beside Tony, wanting to be able to comfort him if needed. We only had to wait for two minutes before the elevator dinged. They all stood.

Cap walked out first. Wanda and Clint followed, Bucky, Sam, and Scott stayed in the elevator. "Tony." Cap looked nervous. Tony looked even worse. No one knew what to say, so they all just stood there in silence. Tony suddenly lost it. "Fuck this, welcome home guys!" Everyone smiled and ran to hug each other. Well, everyone except me, I stayed towards the back of the room.

Suddenly, Clint noticed Me. "Tony, who's the kid?" Tony smiled. "I'll let him tell you, Katniss. But, one thing I can tell you is that he is way too smart for his age." I blushed and took a deep breath. "My name is Peter Parker, but you all know me as Spiderman. Mr. Stark has kind of been mentoring me since Germany, and he has already made me an Avenger - but - I wanted to make sure everyone was okay with it before we went on any missions."

Scott was the first to speak "Wait, how old are you?"  Sam asked if I was actually being serious. Bucky stood in a shocked silence. Wanda looked worried "Peter, are you sure you want to do this? It's really dangerous." Steve looked guilty. Bucky finally spoke "Aren't you a little young to be doing things like this?" "With all due respect, Mr. Barnes, sir, but aren't you a little old to be doing things like this?" Sam imediatly revoked his previous statement "Never mind, I like this kid." Clint nodded in agreement. "Hey, you didn't say how old you were." Scott stepped a bit closer to me to ask this. "Oh, I'm 16, sir."  Horror took over Steve's face. "I dropped an airport terminal on a kid." Determined to make the super soldier feel better, I accidentally told the entire room one of my biggest secrets. "Oh, No! Mr. Rogers, that was nothing! I've had a warehouse dropped on me before."

Tony froze. "What?" I clamped my mouth shut, but it was too late. "Peter, when did that happen?!" I just stared at the floor. Pepper put one  hand on my shoulder, and the other on my chin. She forced me to look at her. "Peter." Her firm and familiar tone told me to just say it before lab privileges were revoked. "Homecoming." I forced my mouth to open. Tony gasped softly.

"What's so special about Homecoming?" Vision asked. "That's when I took his suit away." Tony said softly with tears in his eyes. "Peter, I will never take you suit away again." "Mr. Stark, no- it's like you said. It was the perfect tough love moment I needed!" I was doing all I could to fix the mess I had made. I knew that Tony didn't need this on his conscience. I didn't need this on my conscience either. Warehouses still give me anxiety.

"Kid, I am so sorry." Tony pulled me into a hug. "This is an actual hug, right?" I thought it might be a good moment to lighten the mood. Tony laughed. "Yes, you little shit." I hugged Tony back. "I do not know about you all, but I am getting hungry." King T'challa cut the hug short. " How about shawarma?" I suggested. Cheers and a 'Hell yeah' went up around me.

I overheard Nat talking to Tony "Tones, don't let that kid go." Tony responded "Never, I love him like a son already." I smiled to myself, knowing that he saw me as a son, just like I saw him as a dad.
