Tony looked at his son and knew what he was planning. "Peter, NO!" He ran and grabbed the gauntlet, trying his hardest to pull it off the purple moron's hand. Thanos flung Peter away after a small struggle. Peter was sent flying. "I am inevitable." Thanos snapped. nothing happened. Peter stood a bit shakily. 6 stoned glinted as they attached themselves to Peter's suit. Tony lunged for his son and felt the weight of others trying to pull him back. Tony struggled in their grip. Peter stared Thanos down with a glare no one had ever seen before. It was terrifying. "And I...Am...Sorry." He looked at Tony and snapped. 

"NO!" Tony screamed as he burst away from Rhodey's grip for a split second. It was long enough. Tony made it to Peter. Rhodey grabbed Tony's shoulder and Pepper reached them too. Soon everyone was trying to pull everyone else away. The surge of power ran through them all. The entire army of Avengers were sharing the full power of the stones. It hit Peter the worst. He absorbed most of the energy. He was screaming and crying. His body almost burned away, but his healing wouldn't let him die. Thanos stood in shock. "I failed." He faded away. Blinding light erupted everywhere. Peter screamed even louder. Everyone was in pain. It hurt. So bad. It faded after a bit. 

Peter was on the ground. Unmoving. Tony crawled towards him. "Peter. Bambino, come on. Come on Peter. Kid, please." No reply. Tony shook his kid. A shaky breath rattled through Peter's lungs. Tony laughed a horse painfilled laugh. "Peter!" The teen opened his eyes.  Then his hand. There lay the crushed infinity stones. A cry came from Peter Quill. "GAMORA!" It was Gamora. The real Gamora. She still had tears streaming down her face from when Thanos threw her off the cliff. Nebula cried. "Sister!" She threw her arms around her. "I'M SO SORRY!" Gamora held her tightly, shushing her sister and apologizing too. Loki appeared next to Thor. "B-brother?" Loki teared up. "I'm sorry I had to trick you...again...Brother." Thor hugged his brother tightly. Loki returned the hug. Clint gave a tearful hello to Nat. Wanda was wrapped around Vision. Steve grabbed Bucky's face and kissed him. Bucky wrapped his hands around Steve's waist and pulled Steve closer.. Everyone turned to their friends and held them. They cried. It was over. They won.

Tony pulled his wife next to him. Pepper, meet Peter, Peter meet Pepper. Pepper pulled the teen into a hug. "Thank you." She whispered into Peter's ear. She pulled back. "There's someone you need to meet." Peter looked confused and tired. Bruce came over. "First, we need to let everyone rest and recover. "No, no Mr. Banner, sir. I'm fine." Peter attempted to stand. Tony forced him back down. "Peter, you just took on the power of the infinity stones. You need to get checked out first. Besides, Morgan would hate to see her big brother injured." Peter's eyes teared up and he allowed himself to be taken away on a stretcher. Pepper hugged her husband. "I know you would have done the same, but you wouldn't let us help. You would have died, Tony." Tony nodded. "Peter was expecting to die. That's why he said he was sorry." Pepper sniffed. "He shouldn't have to save the universe. He's just a kid."

"Yeah, but he's our kid now" With that, Tony walked his wife onto a Wakandan ship and waited to go home.

Okay, I got my babies back.

I'm sorry it's short, but it make for a much better ending if you ask me...but that's an opinion.
