Roger Mcguinn#1

The hot sand felt good against my toes,as I held my copy of "Dune" in my hand,I'd read the book a least a million times but,still a classic.

I looked up and noticed a groupful of boys were playing volleyball.One boy in particular was playing like wild,he nearly body slammed his own teammate. Without hesitation,The sandy-covered volleyball flew overhead landing nearby me. A long-haired boy with what looks like Ben Franklin glasses.
"Sorry there,love"he says as he crouches down to pick up the volleyball. "Its Alright"I say,he smiles
"What you doing here all alone,love?"
He asks,I looked up at him. He was quite Cute, "Reading y'know"I say,he chuckles "I noticed you-well,my bandmates did too"he says softly "I noticed you too"I say,he said bandmates. I realized it was Roger Mcguinn,frontman for The Byrds.

"What's ya name,love"he asked as he sat down beside me, "Y/N" I say,he smiles "Well,I'm Roger. Roger Mcguinn"he says extending his hand for me to shake,I took it. He pointed at my book," "Dune" is a good book you think?"he says "Yeah,its my favorite"I say "Me too"he says.

In the distance I hear
"ROGER,COME BACK WE WANNA PLAY!" Another high-pitched voice piped up "QUIT TALKING TO THAT CHICK,WE KNOW YOU WERE FUCKING LOOKING AT HER"

Roger just threw the ball back, to one of the boys. He had a camera hung around his neck, "May I take a photo of you,Y/N?"he asks "What?"I say "Not to be werid,but,I'm really into photography and I've taken to many pictures of the guys I need someone
new"he says softly, "Alright"I say,he pulls of the camera,a flash right into my eyes,he looks through the camera lens "That's just beautiful"he says softly as he looks back up at me,I found myself giggling childishly.

I met up with the rest of the boys,David kept trying to flirt with me and then,gave up cause I wasnt replying. I knew something special was forming

After that,
Roger and I became close friends
It was comfortable bond between us. Something that only happens once in a lifetime.
