"Yah Lalisa!" Jisoo cried as she skipped towards the taller girl.
"How do you have so much energy on a Monday morning." Lisa complained groggily.
"A chicken a day keeps the doctors away."
Lisa rolled her eyes at her friend's immaturity.
"By the way, did you see the new transfer students Lis? They're like, so hot." Jisoo said dreamily. "Now I have to actually try to look decent for school."
The Thai tilted her head in confusion. "Aren't they supposed to come next semester?"
"Nah, the Japanese transfers come next semester. These ones are from Australia, they're staying for the rest of the year."
"Oh" was all that Lisa cared to say.
"THAT'S IT??? They're like smoking hot and- oh wait. I forgot you were a simp for Jennie."
"Shut up Chu before I duck-tape Dalgom's face."
Jisoo gasped dramatically before narrowing her eyes. "You wouldn't dare."
"Try me."

"Boys and girls, I've assigned you to your exchange partners. Please show them around the campus, and make them feel very welcomed. Class dismissed."
Lisa couldn't focus. Jisoo wasn't lying when she said that the new exchange students were attractive. She watched as her favourite brunette made her way over to one of the boys. She couldn't believe that the teacher paired her Nini with the most attractive guy out of all the exchange students.
She felt her stomach churn uncomfortably. (Lisa couldn't shake away this unsettling feeling for the rest of the day.)
However, she was quickly snapped out of her thoughts.
"Are you Lalisa Manoban?" A girl with cute fluffy cheeks asked her.
"Uh y-yeah... but you can call me Lisa." The Thai said while nervously scratching the back of her neck.
"Hi Lisa! I'm Rosé." The girl stretched her arm out for a handshake.
Lisa stared at the Australian blankly. 'She's quite pretty.' The Thai thought to herself. She forgot to return the handshake, causing Rosé to awkwardly lower it to her side.
"My full name is Roseanne Park. In case you didn't hear, I'm your exchange partner!"
Lisa found herself grinning at Rosé's cheerful disposition and beaming smile. Rosé was like the radiating sun, and Jennie was like the fickle moon.
Lisa had always been more of a night person.

"And what's with all the smiling today?" Jisoo teased her cousin as their clique strutted down the halls.
Jennie rolled her eyes, though her smile didn't strain. "Can't a girl just be happy for no reason?"
"Not when her exchange partner is the hottest guy in school." Irene added with a smirk. Just like that, Jennie's cheeks were dusted a light coat of pink.
Everyone seemed to be in a good mood, teasing Jennie relentlessly for her developing crush on Kim Jongin. Well, all but one.
Jisoo noticed Lisa's silence, and decided to stop the playful jokes.
However, not everyone read the room well.
"Even your surnames are the same; you two are practically married." Tzuyu continued.
