Jin smirked as Hani called out his name. He corrected his posture, faking a cough, and began his story.

"I have an interesting story about my childhood. Are you ready to hear it?" he lifted his brows a few times. A series of complaints echoed through the room.

"Start your story, please." Hani rolled her eyes. The rest of them nodded their heads lazily.

"Alright, alright. I'll start."

"I have an older brother named Seokjoong. He's very kind. We shared the same dream; to be an actor. We always practiced together after school and honestly it was very cringy. Especially when one of us had to be a female character." Jin chuckled before continuing,

"We were in 5th grade and the final exam was over, our school had organized a theater that allowed students from every batch to enter. My brother and I decided to join it, so we went to the audition together. I passed it, but unfortunately, my brother didn't. In the end, we fought the judges and finally got my brother to join the theater too."

Sandeul gasped in the middle of the story. "You guys must be the elites in the school. I hate those kinds of guys," he said as he made a disgusted expression.

Jin stuck his tongue out and proceeded, "We never skipped any practices, and guess what? Our performance became a hot topic in the school!" he clapped his hands, acting a teenage girl.

"So, what's the 'interesting' story?" Baro quoted the word interesting using his fingers. "Be patient, please. Don't interrupt me." Jin replied while raising both of his hands.

"Okay, here comes the best part. After the performance has done, we walked out of the hall, hand in hand, to find our mother. My mother told Seokjoong to wait for her at the canteen."

"We went there, but mother was nowhere to be seen. We separated to find her and during our search, my brother fell into the drain," he said, laughing while punching Ken who sat beside him. The latter was used to it, so he didn't bother to stop him.

Jin eventually stopped laughing and spoke again, "He called out my name for help and that's when a girl came to him. I saw her helping my brother getting out of the drain and they were blushing when they realised their hands intertwined." he giggled.

"As time passes by, they became closer to each other and got married when we finished our studies. They live happily ever after. The end." he ended his story and bowed like a prince charming in folklores. The rest clapped their hands, playing along with him.

"So, who's next?" Ken questioned.

"Wait, I have a question!" Sandeul suddenly shouted, making all of their eyes went to him. "You want to be an actor, right? How come you became an idol?" he asked insensitively.

"Ahh...about that..." Jin stopped for a second before answering, "My brother left our family and I decided to find another dream because just remembering about acting could make my heartache. Yeah, that's the answer to your question." he smiled at the end of his words.

The room became silent again. No one knows what the others were thinking.

"Uhm, may I volunteer myself to be the next storyteller?" Moonbyul spoke, breaking everyone's thoughts. They nodded, signing her to start her story.

"Hm, where do I start?" she stopped after asking herself.

"Okay, maybe you guys didn't know this, but I actually have a sister. Her name is Seulgi."

"Why didn't you tell us before? Where is she? Can we meet her?" Being a busybody he is, Sandeul questioned.

"She's dead," answered Moonbyul. Sandeul realised his mistake as he lowered his head in guilt. Moonbyul gazed at him and smiled weakly.

"It's okay. I already get over it and I believe that she is in a better place now," she said. "By the way, I'd like to share with you a story of her." she began again while Sandeul slowly looking up.

"Seulgi eonni was very fond of pastry. She always dreamed about becoming one of the most popular pastry chefs in the world. She learned a lot about pastries with my grandmother."

"Before grandma passed away, she gave her small cottage, full of tools to make pastries to eonni for her to make more of them in the future." Moonbyul smiled as she told them the story, inflicting the others to smile too.

"Your sister sounds like a nice person," Hani commented. Moonbyul nodded her head, agreeing to her.

"She's very kind and a considerate person too. She always gave her priority to other people instead of herself, which makes everyone loves her. Of course, there would be some of them who took advantage of her kindness. That's why I'm beside her, to protect her from those kinds of people." She said proudly.

"But, I failed." She trailed off.

"She died in a car crash 6 years ago when we're heading home after school. It was me who was supposed to get hit, but she pushed me and took my place." she teared up. Ken who sat beside her, instinctively hugged her sideways.

"My father started to hate me after that. He changed and became abusive--that's for another day. What I am trying to say is that my sister is a great person. It's a loss since you guys don't have the chance to meet her." She smiled weakly as Ken released the hug.

Jin grabbed her right hand and caressed it. "Don't feel bad about it. You have done your best to protect her while she's alive. I know we all can't replace your sister, but we're here to stay with you until the end of the journey. All you have to do is be happy and we'll get through everything together. Trust me." he playfully touched Moonbyul's nose.

"What the heck?" Moonbyul's pulled her hand and laughed. Sandeul and Baro began to tease Jin by mimicking his moves earlier. Jin narrowed his eyes, looking at his friends.

"Next?!" Hani suddenly shouted.

"Baro? Sandeul? Both?" Ken said while eyeing the stepsiblings back and forth.

"We met when we're 17 years old, so we pretty much have a different childhood." Sandeul said before Baro continued his sentence, "We also grew up in different places. So, rock, paper, scissors?"
