The step-siblings slowly stood up from the floor, bowing their heads while ignoring the dust that covered their pants and palms. Sandeul glanced at his brother who had the same expression as him. Stoic.
"Yeobo!!!" Someone wailed from behind them.
They turned around to see their stepmother, crying on the ground with an unfamiliar man beside her whose job was to calm her down.
"Father must be happy now that he doesn't have to face this btch anymore." Baro suddenly voiced out. Sandeul nodded then smirked at the ugly sight in front of them.
"Let's go, they must be waiting."

Ken's apartment became noisy again as they decided to go back to their routines. The owner of the house was rolling his eyes while sitting on the counter, scanning his messy house.
Jin, Hani, and Hyesung were watching television in the living room with chips and cans of sodas everywhere. His girlfriend was in the room, but he could see what she was doing.
"Byul-ah! Stop stalking that boy and clean up the room! You are the one who threw things yesterday!" he shouted, eyebrows knitted together.
"Yah, shut up, will you? We are watching movies here." Ken's head snapped to the living room where Jin casually sat on the armrest.
"You, shut up. What's wrong with you people? We have the household's rules, why aren't you obeying them?" Ken nagged. He frowned hard, slamming the counter with his hand before getting off of it.
He stepped to the living room and stood in front of his three friends, blocking their views.
"What the fish, Ken? Move over!" Hani said as she kicked the air, shooing him.
The standing man gave her a slight smirk and took the remote control to switch off the television. Groans started to fill the room, making him satisfied.
"What do you want, Ken?" Hyesung asked with a calm tone, but she's clearly agitated too.
"Time to clean up the mess that you did. Or else, you have to leave and I will close my house from all of you." The apartment's owner scowled.
Silence engulfed them as they eyed each other with burning gazes until Jin put his hands up.
"Alright, we'll tidy up. Now, can you move?" he smiled.
"I mean, now," Ken replied with a low register that was not his usual voice. That meant he was serious and no one could compromise him.
The doorbell rang and it was the savior of Jin, Hani, and Hyesung. Jin and Hani quickly escaped from the living room and went to their room while Hyesung walked towards the door.
Baro and Sandeul immediately covered their noses as they entered the house. The stinky smell that lingered in the air was giving them hard times breathing.
"Is this some sort of garbage dump or what?" Baro spat. He looked around, observing the apartment, frowning.
"Ask them." Ken huffed before stomping to his room.

"Sunyoung-ah," Sandeul called for his lover. His voice sounded so glamorous to the point that Sunyoung's cheeks flushed red. She turned to the boy, eyeing him with affection.
She waited for his next words, but what he did afterward made her flinched out of consciousness. Sandeul suddenly leaned in, resting his head on the girl's lap.
She smiled as their eyes met again. She combed his soft hair with her fingers while he laid there, gazing at her.
"Are you okay? Do you miss your father?" Sunyoung questioned. Sandeul turned silent, his eyes wandered around. Sunyoung caught his act and started to think of another topic before Sandeul voiced out,
"I don't have an answer for that."
Sunyoung tilted her head as she tried to understand what her boyfriend said by looking into his round orbs. However, Sandeul had his face turned away as he had something to hide.
"You don't have to be ashamed if you don't feel anything when your father passed away. Not all family in this world has a beautiful relationship, okay?" Sunyoung's words calmed him down. He sat up, looking into her dark irises.
"You sure know what to say."
"Of course, that's why you chose me."
"No, darling. It's you who chose me." Sandeul chuckled and secured the gap between them. He softly landed his lips on the girl's like she was a piece of fragile glasses.
Sunyoung passionately kissed back, completely satisfied with her decision to move to Seoul.

The aura in the room was tense. Moonbyul was seated at the left corner of the room while Ken on the other side. Both of them were facing the walls, refusing to communicate.
After a long and suffocating silence, Ken let out a sigh. He turned around and faced Moonbyul's back.
"Byul-ah, can we stop this ridiculous fight? It's been two days." The boy pouted as he spoke. Moonbyul stirred a bit, answering to the wall.
"You don't trust me, Ken. How can we carry on?"
"Byul, what are you saying? I trust you with all my heart. Please, Moonbyul, don't do this to me. To us. Can you turn around? I want to see your face just for a moment." Ken said. The quarrel suddenly turned into a drama as the girl slowly stood up and looked at her boyfriend with teary eyes.
"Now you get to see my face, it's over, isn't it?" she huffed.
"No Byu-"
"WOAHHHHHH WHERE IS IT? WHERE IS IT?!" The short drama was interrupted by Jin who was barging into the room with aerosol in his hand.
"JIN CATCH IT!" Hani was behind him, her left hand was holding a mop while the other held a broomstick.
"CHECK UNDER THE BED!" Sunyoung's voice echoed through the house as she shouted from the living room where Sandeul was on the verge of passing out.
"What the heck, guys? What are you doing in here?" Ken questioned, utterly confused.
"A creature from hell flew on Sandeul's head just now and that devil just ran into this room. We followed it here to burn it down." Jin answered while his eyes gawking at every inch of the room.
"Creature what?"
"There! The cockroach is there!" Moonbyul's question was ignored as Hani yelled, pointing at a cockroach crept under the bed.
Jin slithered to the floor, spraying the aerosol with all his might. Moonbyul screeched as she hopped onto Ken who welcomed her in his embrace.
The house turned into a fish market when Jin and Hani fought the small roach while Ken and Moonbyul stayed unbothered. They were stuck in their own world, each of them was lost while looking into each other's eyes.
"I'm sorry, baby girl." Ken left a quick peck on Moonbyul's forehead before settling down. She smashed his lips afterward, sending her feelings to him.
In the meantime, Baro and Hyesung remained in their room, unperturbed and making love.
