The sky was blue and the sun shone brightly. The day couldn't be any nicer, but there were six friends, sitting together in a hospital ward with a gloomy environment.

"I'm so sorry, guys..." Moonbyul said with her trembling voice. She was apologizing since yesterday, from the moment Ken was unconscious until he could make himself a cup of coffee. Everyone was too tired to tell her to stop so they just kept silent, hearing her rants.

The door to the room suddenly opened and Dr. Kim who was in charge of Ken, came in to do a regular check-up. Sandeul, Baro, Hani, Jin, and Moonbyul slowly walked out, giving them some space.

"I'm so sorry, guys," Moonbyul spoke, but this time it was a mutter that only she could hear. Hani scooted over her and embraced her tightly when she saw the tears that flooding her eyes.

"Everything will be okay. We'll be okay." She hushed her friend, softly patting her head.

"I'm going to the cafeteria. You guys wanna something?" Sandeul stood up and asked, but received no answers. He inhaled deeply, stepping out of the room before exhaled loudly. Then, he made his way to the cafeteria.

"I'll be discharged tomorrow," Ken informed as he played with Moonbyul's hair. There were only two of them at the moment since the others decided to go back home to clean up.

"Can't you just stay here? It's not safe outside there." The girl looked up, removing Ken's hand off her head.

"Byul-ah, what are you saying? I'm alright and everything will be so too." he smiled. However, it did not reassure Moonbyul at all.

"No, you're not. Your wound on your back could open again and you can barely walk without support. And soon, everyone will be in danger too, because of me." Moonbyul lowered her head, swallowing her bitter saliva.

"Then, what do you suggest?" Ken's question made her head jerked up. She eyed her partner carefully, giving him a look that only the other could understand.

Ken's eyes widened as expected. He grabbed Moonbyul's small hand and with determination he spoke,

"No, Byul. Do whatever you want, but I won't give up on you so easily."

'Are you alright? How are the others doing?"

Sunyoung's worried voice sounded from the other side. Sandeul took the time to answer as her angelic voice somehow soothed him.

"I'm okay, just a bit shocked. Ken got injured and was unconscious for a day and Baro also has minor injuries, but we all are fine. I guess," he mumbled the last two words as his thoughts went to Moonbyul.

'I really want to go there right now, but the earliest flight is tomorrow morning. Can you wait until then?' Sunyoung replied. Sandeul could imagine how adorable her disappointed face right now which made him smiled inattentively.

"Don't rush, baby. Take your time because I'm more than happy that you're willing to come here for us." Sandeul said and through the phone, he could hear her chuckled.

'I'm willing to do anything for you and your friends who you treasure the most.'

"You're wrong, hun. It's you who I treasure the most." he smiled at the empty space.

The next day, Jin and Hani went to the airport to pick up Sunyoung as Sandeul and Baro had to go to the police station to complete the report about the arson case.

The couple was surprised to see that Sunyoung didn't come alone. She brought someone who might change Baro's life.

Jin glanced at Hyesung who trailed behind them. He secretly smiled, imagining Baro's reaction when he sees her later.

They arrived at Sandeul and Baro's apartment and spent their time resting and relaxing until the doorbell rang. Jin got up and opened the door almost immediately when he saw Moonbyul and Ken through the door lens.

Ken stepped in with the help of Moonbyul while Jin helped them with their belongings.

"I can walk by myself, Byul." Ken chuckled as he looked to his side where his girlfriend was clasping his hand to help him walk.

"Shut up," she mumbled, enough for both of them to hear. She sounded mad, but Ken knew it was because she's worried and nothing more.

An hour later, Sandeul and Baro came home and they were expecting Baro to go crazy when he saw Hyesung, but it didn't happen. The guy simply walked passed her and went to his room.

"It's okay, Hyesung. We will give you guys some time to talk later." Sunyoung patted her shoulder, smiling sweetly.

They gathered in the cozy living room with Moonbyul being the center of them.

"We need to stay low for a while. Ken's apartment is no longer safe and we can't stay here forever too. They will know this place sooner or later." Moonbyul voiced out.

"So, we can't go out at all?" Hyesung asked. She was told the whole story right after she arrived in Seoul.

"We can, but not alone. We can't risk anyone's life." Surprisingly, Baro answered her question. Hyesung turned to look at him who sat on another couch but looked down as soon as their eyes came in contact.

"How about you, Moonbyul? What will you do?" Sunyoung questioned with a polite tone.

"I'll meet my father," she replied as she felt a strong yet soft touch on her hand. She could feel the gaze from Ken from beside her, but she chose to ignore it.

"Isn't that dangerous for you? We don't know what your father would do to you." Hani exclaimed, gaping at Jin as she silently asked for help to persuade their friend.

"Hani's right. There must be another way to solve this." Jin said, supporting his girlfriend.

"He won't do anything to me. I'm his daughter." Moonbyul lowered her head as she, herself wasn't sure with her words.

"He killed your mother for fck sake!" Ken stood up, stomping to the bedroom furiously. Everyone was stunned by his action, given that Ken wasn't someone who easily loses his temper. Moonbyul huffed, blinking her eyes a few times to contain her tears.

Hani who was the closest to her at that time, came beside her and patted her back.

"Everything will be okay, right?" Sandeul suddenly spoke.

A deafening silence wrapped the cozy room for a moment before Jin took the courage to voice out,

"Of course, everything will be okay and we will get the happiness that we deserve." he smiled, unconscious about how sad the smile was.
