"Yah, why are you smiling like an idiot?" Hani nudged Baro as she took a seat beside him. The guy shrugged her off, adding curiosity to the girl.

Hani flicked the back of his head, making him grumbled. He frowned at her.

"That's for ignoring me. Tell me, what happened last night? Why are you so happy? I doubt it if it's because of Sandeul's date." Hani said. She waited for an answer while switching on the television.

"I think I found the love of my life," Baro spoke, smiling. His eyes wandered around, thinking about the girl he met yesterday and how it would be when they have lunch later.

"Ah, so you met someone. Guys, Baro isn't single anymore!" Hani announced. Baro paid no attention to her as he daydreamed. Suddenly, Ken came to the living room after running from his bed.

"For real?!" he squealed.

"Congrats chipmunk!" Sandeul emerged from somewhere. Behind him were Jin and Moonbyul who were grinning ear to ear.

"Who is it?" Moonbyul asked as she passed through two boys in front of her and got to sit beside Baro. However, Baro didn't reply. He was busy thinking about the girl until Hani nudged him, completely running his train of thoughts.

"What?" the latter asked, annoyed.

"Who is she? Tell us." Jin said as he sat across Baro.

"Honestly," Baro sighed before continuing, "I don't know her name..."

Jin and the others were about to complain when Baro suddenly said, "Yet."

"What do you mean?" Ken asked. He pushed Moonbyul aside and sat beside Baro instead. His girlfriend's pout was left unnoticed by him.

"I'm going to treat her lunch today."

"Seriously?!" all of them shouted.

Baro covered his ears, protecting his hearing with all his might. Suddenly, a thought came to his mind. He stood up and rushed to his room before walking out with a white card in his hand.

"What's that?" Questioned Sandeul who was getting up to look at the card.

"Her business card," Baro answered.

"So there should be her name. What's her name? What's her name?" Ken pulled Baro and forced him to sit down.

"Jung Hyesung."

Baro was sitting in front of the girl, Hyesung. He watched her ate her food with so much love in his eyes. He saw the girl's eyes twitching uncomfortably because of his stare, probably.

Hyesung gave up as she put down the cutlery and eyed the man in front of her. "Mr. Cha, could you stop acting like a creep and eat your food? It wouldn't taste good anymore when it's cold," she said before going back to her food.

Baro chuckled lightly, admiring the girl even more. He's loving the bold and confident yet caring characteristics that Hyesung has. He slowly began to devour the food with his eyes continued to look at her.

As they were done, Hyesung immediately voiced, "I believe that this is your treat, Mr. Cha. So, I'll get going first, and thank you for the food." she stood up and was ready to leave before Baro spontaneously took her hand.

Hyesung turned to him, confusion written all over her face. He let out a fake and awkward cough and let go of her hand. His eyes then landed on the floor while he mentally cursed at himself.

"Is there anything you wish to say, Mr. Cha?" her voice snapped him back to reality as his head shot up, almost immediately.

"I-" he trailed off. The sudden nervousness came rushing into him, making it harder for the latter to form sentences. He calmly breathed in and out, gathering all the courage left in him, and looked at the girl with determination in his round orbs.

Hyesung must notice it, given that she seemed taken aback a little.

"First, I would like to cut all the formality between us. Call me Baro, and I'll call you Hyesung. Is that okay?" Hyesung just nodded her head, still clueless about what was going on.

"Second, uh, I must've been crazy to say this." he paused, "I like you, Jung Hyesung. Would you go out with me?"

He did it. He confessed his love. Wow.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Cha," Hyesung spoke after a short but eerie silence. "I'm honored to have someone to like me, uhm, " she stopped as she couldn't find the right word.

"I'm already engaged to someone." That's it. Baro's hope was crushed just like that.

"Ah, I'm so sorry, Ms. Jung!" He apologised afterward, pushing his broken feeling to the deepest part of his heart. The sudden formality that he thought he was going to drop a few minutes ago also coming back without him noticing it.

"I didn't know you belong to someone. I apologise because of my rude behaviour." he simply bowed his head, leaving the restaurant with sorrow.

"How did it go?" Ken was the first to ask the rejected guy when he got back to their chalet. Baro gave him a look that was unidentifiable before going straight to his room.

"Don't be sad. There are plenty of girls out there for you to try again!" Ken yelled some motivating words, perfectly understood what had happened.

"Nah, let him be, Ken. It's his first time being rejected since he has never been in love before. It's only normal to be rejected. I'm tired of it already. Think of it, how can they dumped me in the first place?" Sandeul said while his eyes wandered around, finding an answer.

"So, I'm not your first love, then?" Sunyoung who sat beside him slightly giggle. Sandeul didn't answer instead he gave her a light peck on the cheek and continued packing his clothes into the luggage with the help of his girlfriend.

Today is the last day of their vacation. Jin and Hani were taking a stroll along the shore after they had done with their packing. Moonbyul went to the market to buy souvenirs to bring back to Seoul.

It was only Ken, Sandeul, Sunyoung, and Baro-who just went back-in the chalet at the moment.

"I'm done. I'll go find Moonbyul. Da-da!" Ken waved his hand, stepping out of the place, but walked back in after three seconds. Behind him was his girlfriend, looking like a mess with tears and lipstick smuggling on her face.

"Ken, why are you- Byul?!" Sandeul abruptly stood up, going over the girl.

"What happened?" He asked with his voice softened, noticing how Moonbyul was trembling in Ken's arms. However, Moonbyul didn't answer, she continued to cry against her boyfriend's chest.

"I guess we should let her calm down first." Sunyoung appeared behind Sandeul.

Moonbyul was strolling around the market when she caught a familiar figure was standing not too far from her. She instantly felt her stomach swirling in a weird way, causing her to turn her shaking heels.

"Byulyi?" the voice called for her, sending a shiver running through her spine. She straightened her body as she looked ahead, ready to leave the place.

"Byul-ah." this time her small wrist being gripped by the voice owner, which she quickly snatched back.

She blinked her eyes and what she saw next eventually became a trigger for the tears to fall from the sockets. There stood before her, a man who once she called a hero, shamelessly looking into her very own eyes.

She turned around but was blocked by two muscular men, who she assumed were the bodyguards. He called for her again, slowly turning his daughter to him.

Moonbyul lowered her head to the extent that she could not watch the father's shiny shoes and began to sob silently. She never knew they were going to meet in this circumstance that she wasn't prepared a bit.

She wasn't angry. She wasn't sad either. She didn't even know the reason she cried right now.

But what she could confirm was, she wasn't prepared to confront her mother's killer.
