Chapter 13: The Alpha Team

Somewhere at an undisclosed location, officers and federal agents work tirelessly to catch the Mexican drug cartel deep in the heart of Mexico City.

Agents Adams, Williams, Johnson, and Hernandez are assigned to the case. They've been gathering intel for almost six months. They almost have enough evidence to convict the entire cartel for 100 years combined.

Agent O'Malley is in charge of the entire operation so her reputation with the bureau is on the line. "Alright any updates with the cartel?"

Hernandez responded, "We've noticed that they started pimping out women to the Highest bidders for the ring, it's  only six girls however."

"We have reason to believe that they are Maria Gomez,Callie  Duquesne, Tez Williams and an unknown caucasian female. That's all the information we have at the moment," Johnson added.

"Alright find out everything you can about these women. Past boyfriends, dead relatives, crazy fetishes, I want to know it all. Get in contact with the family and bring them up to speed on everything we know. I can only imagine what they are going through."

The team began on their individual tasks. Adams was over the family; getting into contact with them and letting them know what was going on. Williams was over their past history, what they had been doing before the abduction to everything after. Hernandez was over the relationships of the women. 

They gathered all of the info they needed to release a press statement. "Alright everyone divide and conquer your tasks and we will reconvene in an hour."

Two hours passed and Eric and Martha came out of the back room. They walked up slowly on the girls, adding to the dramatic effect. They looked at each woman and pointed.

"Tez you got the job."They said in sync.

Tez was surprised to say the least, though she didn't expect it. Martha pulled up Tez from her spot and began walking with her, explaining everything in intricate detail. Martha  was talking so fast that Tez missed a couple of details.

"...you start tomorrow, anything I need to repeat?" She blurted out.

I don't think I'm going to like this job Tez thought to herself.

"Alright I have reason to believe that we can bring this cartel down for good. All we need is jurisdiction to make all of the arrests in Mexico City." O'Malley stated.

"Sir if I could have a moment of your time, please." Williams questioned.

"Sure Williams, you are my star pupil, what's going on?" O'Malley gave his undivided attention to Agent Williams.

"Sir I have some concerns about two of the women," he paused looking desolate, "I---I believe one of the girls is my daughter and her best friend sir. I'm asking your permission to take a leave of absence so that I can be with my family? It would only be until this all blos over and if I had known that my daughter would be one of the captive women, then I never would have taken this case."

Agent O'Malley took a moment to compose himself before he responded. "Little Tez is my Goddaughter, and I love her with all of me, I'm granting your leave under the pretence that you'll do as you say and go be with your family. I don't need another rogue agent going on a prince charming resume mission. Go to your family and we'll manage the mission as best as we can without you." O'Malley gave Agent Williams a reassuring smile as he went to go pack his things to leave.

"Alright team, we need every federal agent that's on active duty to infiltrate that shithole that has my Goddaughter. I want all of their asses served on a silver platter roasted with the bones of their kills."
