Mexico Has Splinters

Part 11

***Caleb one of Tez's brothers

This chapter is rather short but I promise it goes with the plot. 

Chapter 11:

Back at the Wright's home, Tanya goes up to her room to pray. Tobias fixes his family something to eat since it was lunch and they hadn't eaten yet. While Caleb goes into Tez's room. He wanders over to her dresser with the countless photos of all of her friends and some of her family. He smiles to himself when he sees a photo of him, Tobias and Tez at the beach last summer. That was the day that they had made sandcastles that could be put in a contest.

"Mommy let's go to the beach since there's nothing to do this afternoon," Tez suggested to her mother.

Tanya wright had nothing to do that afternoon but rest. True it was intriguing to see her family enjoy themselves thoroughly so she agreed it was what they needed. Their father had been deployed for about three months and would call when he could. Tanya thought they could use some sun too.

"Alright go get the beach stuff and load the truck." She exclaimed.

Tobias, Caleb, and Tez all gathered their best beach fits and loaded up the car. Thirty minutes later they were all off to the beach to enjoy some sun.

Halfway there the family stopped at the gas station to get some ice and snacks for the cooler. The guys went to gather the drinks and ice while Tez gathered the snacks and their mom filled up the gas tank.

While Tez went into the store for the snacks, there was someone watching her unbeknownst to her. He would follow her into the other aisle to watch her from afar. Beady, were his eyes, and cold was his gaze. After Tez had gathered a sufficient amount of snacks she went to the register. The man, her stalker was right behind her.

"Will that be all for you today?" the woman at the register asked.

"Yes and thank you," Tez responded.

Tez unknowingly gathered her belongings and waved goodbye to the woman at the register and her abductor.
