Chapter 8, Mission Failed

𝗡𝗔𝗥𝗨𝗧𝗢!!

𝗦𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗞𝗘!!!

𝐍𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐰. 𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫.

The chidori and rasengan collided, causing an explosion and a bright white beam of light. After the light disappeared, both of them were panting. The explosion wasn't too big but big enough to injure Sasuke's and Naruto's arm.

Naruto was first to get into his battle stance. But it was different, instead of using his usual one, he was using a different one. Sasuke couldn't see any openings or any way to make an opening. He'd had to be the 'number 1most unpredictable ninja' like Naruto.

Heck, even if Naruto joined the Akatsuki, he's still as unpredictable as ever. Sasuke snapped out of his thought to dodge Naruto's attack. Sasuke got into his battle stand but somehow Naruto knew this stand. 'Is it because this stand is the Uchiha' s iconic stand that he already knew?!?' thought Sasuke.

But he had no time switching into a different stand since Naruto's got his hands full. He dodged Naruto's attack and used his arms to protect himself when needed. What Sasuke didn't noticed was a shadow clone sneaking behind him. The shadow clone was created secretly when the explosion finally disappeared.

Sasuke felt a sharp pain on his back. He got stabbed with a kunai from the shadow clone. Worst part,

𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻.

(A/N the effects of the poison is just fanfiction, its not true. I'm not sure if it exists thou-)

Sasuke could feel his body slowly getting numb. His vision getting blury. He clutched his bleeding wound. He was just lucky it wasn't his vital organ. But Naruto could have easily killed him earlier, so why? Soon, he stood still and fainted from the poison. Seeing Naruto walking away before losing  consciousness.

Now opening his eyes back, he could see his sensei carrying him, moving carefully to not make his wound bleeding even further. "Go back to sleep, I got you" Kakashi said. Sasuke yet again lost consciousness.

This time, he was in the hospital. Looking to his side, he saw a bunch of 'get well' letters from his fangirls (Sakura included). He was about yo get up when his whole body started to hurt. He decided to stay still until someone came or something.

Few minutes later, we can see Tsunade charging to Sasuke's room with Shizune trying to stop her from disturbing the patient (Sasuke). Tsunade wanted to ask millions of questions, She. Needed. Answers. One question could only come out of her mouth, "What happened?"

Afters minutes or hours as Sasuke would descibe it, he answer all of Tsunade's questions. He needed a glass of water, his thoary was getting soar. He remembered his friends and asked if he were alright. They were injured pretty badly, but the injuries were not life threatening.

Sasuke was reading books while eating a few tomatoes (don't ask.) with Anbu guarding his room for fangirl reasons...  He really needed some 'alone time'. He couldn't stop thinking about what Naruto said,

Those words had took an inpack on him. Those same exact words kept running through his mind. He got a bit of a headache so after and went to sleep.
