It had been nearly an hour already since Tobi began receiving the beating of his lifetime. His eye was swollen, and his hands were sore from summoning weapons. His opponent was quite tough.

Tobi had told Zane to take him to the second level, and so he was led through the white door at the other end of the weapons room. He had emerged in another circular room like the first, but this one had only four doors.

Tobi thought it might be easy to clear this level and move on to the next, but this first challenge was proving too difficult.

The guardian had appeared, calling himself 'Ultimate Warrior', and had challenged him to a duel. He was an imposing figure about seven feet tall, with battle armor all over his body. If Tobi passed the challenge, he would earn his power of agility.

They were fighting in an open field, but it wasn't open enough for Tobi to get away from him. The guardian was merciless as he kept rushing at Tobi who hardly had any time to defend himself or even to run away. His challenger wielded a huge terrifying sword, with a wide curved tip, and jagged teeth.

Most terrifying of all was the poker faced expression of a killer on his face. If Tobi didn't take care, he would be ripped apart by his opponent, and he was already out of speed, running on might and steel alone.

Tobi summoned a giant bow and pulled on the string. A huge arrow appeared, and he was about to release it at his opponent twenty feet away. The warrior suddenly disappeared and then reappeared right in front of him, seizing the bow from his hand. He was very fast. Tobi jumped back, and banished the weapon before his opponent had the chance to crush it.

Tobi barely had the chance to dive to the side as the warrior suddenly came at him with incredible speed, slashing at his head. Tobi rolled to his feet next to a huge boulder. His speed had replenished a bit, so he activated endurance, and called to speed. He had an idea. He was going to adopt the method that lieutenant had used against Nailah.

Tobi summoned a giant hammer, and then swung the hammer at the boulder next to him, smashing it and sending huge chunks of rocks flying towards the warrior, moving in slow motion. Tobi knew his opponent would quickly adjust to his speed, so he called deeper to speed, pulled up his hood and then ran ahead of the boulders flying at the warrior in slow motion. The warrior seemed a bit occupied, trying to block the approaching rocks, as he slowly brought up a fist as if to punch.

Perfect, just the distraction Tobi had intended to create. He ran behind the warrior, banished the hammer, summoned a long sword, and then jumped, slashing at the guardian's head.
Suddenly, just before the sword made contact, his opponent's speed adapted to Tobi's, and the fist he had raised to punch the rocks suddenly went to guard his head. Tobi's sword made contact with the warrior's armored fist.
Tobi cursed under his breath. He knew it couldn't have been that easy.
Just as he was about to land, the warrior turned around and stared him in the face.

He cursed again.

Could he see him? Was his hood not on?

Tobi received a heavy punch just as he landed, which he managed to block with his arms, but it still sent him flying. He landed on the dirt some distance away. He could feel the vibration of the impact through his bones. He was pretty sure if he hadn't called to steel, both his arms would have been useless by now.

Tobi was too weak to get up, but he managed to. As if sensing his weakness, the guardian warrior approached him walking slowly, with his wicked looking sword at the ready.

What should he do now?

Tobi thought he should call to Zera for help, but if she got wounded in the process, she could be out of action for a long time.
