Salvation

Ivy stood, reaching for the ground with her power. She was not going to let this end, not if she could help it. The vines rose up from underneath her, cradling her within its grasp. "Harry!" She screamed as the vines struck both Jim and Bullock sending them falling hard onto their backs against the wall. The vines spurted out attaching themselves to Harry's legs pulling him towards Ivy where she grabbed ahold of him, pulling him to her chest. The vines created a nest of protection around them, shooting them up like a bullet into the ceiling and through the floors towards the very top.

Once out, the nest crawled like a spider down the side of the building and out through the city. The people ran away screaming as it came towards them carrying itself back to their sanctuary. The minions Harry had created fell back as well, returning to the house as guards. Bruce followed behind. "Harvey?" James asked spitting out pieces of plants and leaves. He aimed the torch at the center piece Ivy had created. "Should we?" He asked as Harvey nodded. "Couldn't hurt." He said untying the wires that were around his tummy. "I couldn't find Bruce." Lucius said walking in with his medical jacket on. "I searched everywhere, he must still be with them. " he said as Jim shook his head watching the roots of the plant burn. "They've managed to kill and turn over half this city so far, and this...this would've killed everyone. Jim said looking at the broken chairs and tables with vines early seeping through. People were now decoys and being brought down deep in the depths of the soils underneath.
