I sat in the living room busy Facebooking with my phone, Ebimo, my younger brother is also on his phone, we are both comfy in our positions, I on the two seater chair directly opposite the TV and Ebimo on the one seater at my right.
There's no light oh
Our living room is fairly big, with two windows, both covered with milk coloured cotton's.
"Timipere! Come oh" mummy shouted from her room.
What again?
I quickly stood up leaving my phone on the chair and walked to her room.
"Yes ma" I answered immediately I went in.
"Come help me zip the blouse"
She spoke in pidgin. She is getting ready for work. My mum only goes to work on Wednesdays, yeah I'm sure you're probably wondering why?
Me too
I quickly help her zip up and make sure her bra hands aren't poking out of the blouse. She's wearing a black blouse and yellow skirt, she just recently cut her hair short and she's currently looking younger than her age.
So many people say I look older than my mum.
Chaii, see insult
I know it's because of this annoying pimples on my face that has refused to free me.
Free me oh, I chanted in my head.
"Turn the clothes oh" she said referring to the clothes she washed earlier this morning.
"Yes ma"
"Shey it's fine?" She asked me referring to the clothes she wore.
"Yes it's fine" she did look really good.
After answering her question, I quickly left the room to continue my chat.
There's this new guy that sent me a message today, he's really cute and all, he even started dropping pick up lines.
Funny pick up lines, if I may
Lines like "When I saw you my slippers cut" it's really a waste of effort though, I really don't have time to date someone, not with my type of mother.
"I dun dey go oh" mummy says walking towards the main door.
"Okay" I reply as she leaves.
