SICK

I know I've been posting slowly. Here's a new chapter.

My whole body hurts, I refused to wake up and today is Tuesday. My head aches really bad. I feel like a log of wood.

Ouch

"Timipere! You no go go school?" I heard mummy shout from the kitchen.

I couldn't even reply her, my throat feels dry.

"Timi you no dey hear?" Ebimo said walking into the room with his uniform.

I tried to talk but my headache just became worst. Oh God what did I do to deserve this?

Ebimo kneels beside my bed and uses the back of his palm to feel my neck and forehead.

I was feeling cold but I knew my body was on fire.

"Your body hot, wetin dey do you?" Ebimo asks

How I go take know?

He quickly stands up to bring water for me, mum was taking her bath now so he couldn't tell her yet.

"Oya raise your body small drink this water yah" He told me.

I managed to raise myself alittle and then drink the water. I laid back down as he returns the cup.

What kind of sudden sickness is this? Is it because I was overthinking and crying about yesterday throughout the night?

"Mummy Timi dey sick" I heard Ebimo telling her as she comes out from the bathroom.

My eyelids felt heavy, I just wanted to sleep ...

"Mama wetin dey to you?" She asks as she quickly rushed to my bed checking my temperature.

"My body is paining me, headache, I'm catching cold" I tried my best to explain, drinking the water helped my dry throat.

"Oya try standup ehn, so you bathe first" She said as she helps me stand up.

We walked pass some clothes and as we're about to enter the bathroom, my eyes closed.
