I pick up my phone and call Mrs. Daisy, Timipere's Teen leader.

How can she be there and allow my daughter do that nonsense?

"Hello Mummy Evelyn,Good evening" she greeted as soon as she picked the call.

What's good about this evening?

"Evening Daisy, I want to ask you something"

"Yes ma'am, what is it?"

"Why did you allow nonsense to happen in your meeting today?"

"Ah ma, I don't understand"

How will you understand?

"You saw my daughter sitting on Alex's laps and you allowed it"

"Please ma, you're very wrong about that, I allowed you to beat up Timi at church cause I thought it was a family problem, I never knew it was misconception, Timi never sat on Alex laps, the reason why she was standing at his front was because he was making noise and she as the assistant teenage leader was sending his phone"

I don't understand

"So you mean Timipere never sat on his laps?" I asked

"Yes"

"Thank you Daisy, sorry for the commotion I caused earlier."

Ah! I have wronged my daughter.

I walk to the living room where I see Timipere still kneeling down with her eyes closed.

"Timipere" she opens her eyes to look at me "You can go and bathe now, I've called your teenage leader, she said you never sat on his laps, when you finish bathing , dress up so we can go and buy ice creams"

"Yes ma'am" she replied stiffly as we stood and walked to her room.

I slump on one of the arm chairs, I'm very tired. Why did Stella? Do this? What did she gain from me beating my child?
